Normally on a 90 degree day around here we will hit the beach...and that's exactly our intensions yesterday...BUT...we had high winds  ...26 mph...at times up to 60 mph!...and there was sand blowing all over the place...tree branches down...and NOT the place to bask the bodies...so we kept going north, thinking it would change...NOPE!...same stuff...ended up in Solana for lunch and called it a day...oh yea, by the way, when the palm trees are bending at 40*, you're not sure what may fly your way... Pooh day for my teams of choice...the inept hitting Pads got whipped by SF...again, and lost 3-2 and 2-1 in the series...some 50 year old whittled the boys down like it was a walk in the windless park...and the Blazers...had a chance at closing out the Rockets...but went cold in the last 4 minutes...and oh by the way, what on earth was the effort by Aldridge in the game?...like he was just a passing time...NO FACTOR...back to PDX for game number 6... As per my headline yesterd...

The NBA acted quickly and appropriately...I guess...in giving the lifetime ban to former (?) Clipper owner, Donald Sterling (Tokowitz) ... fining him $2.5 million ...and waiting on a vote by the other owners, to force him to sell the team ... I am smelling a court fight ...this just can't be this easy...I fear the telephone entrapment, or illegal taping of a private conversation will come into play...AND...if the owners find reasonable clause to support they guy, the league's players will be in a revolution mode ...stay tuned...it's not over... The team sighed a huge amount of release ...and played with heart and won the game versus GS ...and go up 3-2 in the series...very hard on all of the players and coaches in the this sport...and for all the hullabaloo about the strength of the Chi Bulls, they got bopped out in the 1st round ...how close can it get for the Grizzles ...as the tip in for OKC (Soopersonics)...was a hair late...good match, by the way...and tonight.....

The appalling comments of the Clipper's owner...if it is him...just exemplifies what he has been saying for years...as Donald Sterling, in reality Donald Tokowitz, has put the racial thing back on the table...he made his $ buying and selling real estate...and has made even more by his rentals...and that's where he has made the huge amounts of it....and also, has left his imprint on the types of people that he rents to...his history of buying a team in the NBA...the Clippers, began in San Diego, of all places...and was a huge bust here...leaving after 5 years...with a load of promises unfulfilled...AND... as he worked his way into the elite owners of the game...found a way to ride the Buss to LA...and restart there...hey, I'm not saying that this isn't new...but, he disregards all types of people he employs...and rears his ugly head...not sure where this is going to go...rumors of boycott...rumors of this that and everything else...one thing is clear, he has been ordered...
