You do recall, a short week ago... the Horse was doing some bragging about the 80* winter weather we were basking in... swimming, er, canoodling in the warm waters of the poo l ...sure, then sunning our pale (?) skins in the beautiful sunshine...right, I'm sure you remember this...well now... turnabout is fair play ...and we are headed to cold, rainy and even SNOWY days ahead ...well, the latter will be in the mountains just east of us...the most popular place to go...where we just went, Julian ...weird and wack, I tell ya... In my flipping thru the pixel channels, I happened on some hoops ...odd, right?...ha ha...watched the Lady Connecticut gals beat a much more talented Tennessee squad...it's true...a bit later, the Golden St 'Warriors' hosted the NY Knicks... in a brutally officiated game ...the Knickerbockers aren't bad...they won, but oh my...the refs... stunk to high heaven ...geez, that is just a horrific saying... I could not take my eyes off of the TV screen yesterday...at times, it seemed magical ...as the Inauguration came off without any shenanigans...not a hint of even one...for sure, the Jan 6th Capitol Caper was enough...I digress... the entire show, was a splendid reminder of what we are...not, what we were. ..the leadership was there...the past and certainly, the present...to help coronate and celebrate...well, all but trump...but, then again, what did we expect?... President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris were sworn in...and the thing that they said most often, was 'we have to get to work' ...which they did...immediately declaring 17 items...the speech by the Prez, was terrific...as we embark on a very volatile time.. .the 'show' part of the festivities, was fun.. .JLo, Garth Brooks, and well, Lady Gaga ...who must have missed the memo on the dress size allowed... The walk to the White House, was kinda scary...I dunno, I feared the worst, and got the best ...judgi...

Finally, and I do mean finally ...we are about to get back to normalcy ...as Joe Biden becomes our 46th President ...the future will be tough...so many things to rebuild...resurrect...friends to rekindle...a cabinet of real thinkers and doers...gone are the yes people...this will be an exciting time for us... THE TRUTH ...in lieu of midnight Tweets...for those who are in the other party, give it a chance...to work... Over the years of presidential campaigning, I have witnessed so many of the same promises, slogans, and commitments ...thing is, some are so hard to accomplish, they are still on the wish list 50 years later...the word most often used is 'change' . ..duh...of course, we have a new Prez, from a diff party... well, we do have a woman Vice President...and she is of color. .. Kamala Harris ...as many of you faithful Horse followers know, my choice from the get go...she shall be brilliant... The pomp and circumstance will be on display today...of this grandiose inaug...

Think about how many of his former cabinet members, and or 'friends' would love ...absolutely get giddy, if they had the honor to announce this little statement to the departing bloke , who is in his last day of inhabiting the White House... trump ... "YOU'RE FIRED!" ...there are loads of peops, that would line up to do so, I reckon...one being moi... Yet, belligerently, he refuses to admit defeat...no concession from this guy ...as he screameth 'fraud' as he climbs aboard the chopper that will carry him out... no 21 gun salute at the White House ...he may get one at the Naval Base he is being carried to... are we done with him? ... NO! ... He has to endure a Senate trial on his 2nd Impeachment ...are you catching the drifts of the Republican Senators?...not only will the numbers be at 50/50, and have lost the majority there... BUT, there is sentiment to actually...get this...vote to convict the bloke. ..get him out of the party...stay close to this...

You know, his death, was a significant thing in my youth ...the loss of the Kennedy Brothers, via the killings...was too...I think back to the signs of war, all around us... we (meaning my generation) had so many questions as to 'why?' ...as much as I hated that era, I did love the music of then...more writers, performers, talented people, had so many things to say and deliver to us... One such bloke, just died in prison of...

What has become of the educational process in the World , right now?... some are in house, some are via the computer, some are hit and miss ...and, in reality, the quality has been disrupted ...like most things during this pandemic siege... many students, are not...?...they just quit ...ask any teacher, about the grading system used during this era...it is a joke...the kids know it, too...hang in there, and the degree will be forthcoming... what % of the students have the technology that is required if there is no school held, well, at school? ...I think I am telling you nothing that you already don't know... Imagine the History Book ...man, it was a hard sell, when I was going...it took a special educator to make that come alive...probably falls completely flat during the Covid time...however, the NEW one ...will be significant...the newest HISTORY BOOK! ... the special chapter of trump will be extraordinary...when it comes to presidential patterns, that will stop right there.....
