The Lake Show couldn't go on as planned...as planned by Mike Brown ...and after 5 games, he was ousted... fired, kicked to the curb, let go, banished, given his walking papers ...of course,  he'll retain his pay...so, if it is to be, give me the $ and I'll be on my way...rumors that the new coach is to be one of 4 blokes... Phil Jackson (the legend) leads the pack...and if he wants it, it is his...of course, the Lakers play freely and win last night's game...with an interim guy, Bernie B ... It can't be...really?...I mean, c'mon... talk about it being over ... Selena and the one and only, Bieber. ..wasn't it forever?...love these days... Did you catch Carrie on the Jimmie Fallon Show the other night?...great skit and of course, she was dynamite singing "Blown Away" ...he has improved and will be the right guy to take over the Tonight Show ...trust me on this... All eyes will be at noon with the Beavs/Stanford game...well, my eyes are on...

Got some bad news for you Portland Trailblazer fans ...you are trending down... CH has seen PDX play three times and have these insights...you will be turrible if Aldridge doesn't get around the basket...and he is floating further away from the hoop than ever before...as good as the new PG Lillard is offensively, he's as bad defensively...if he releases his man inside, you have LA there...or sort of...not a good match...the Clips PG's went crazy and the Blazers had no answer...correctable?...you bet...but now, not later... What a bloody joke the X Factor is...it's like the 1st time for the hosts and the script...there is little that is there...+, the "talent" is a farce...turn away, it is hideous... Good morning San Diego!...we actually are greeted with some form of rain drops...ha ha... THIS is not rain...as we get settled in this is the set of topics that have hit my brain... The mighty Trojans of USC have stretched the rules again...and got caught again...the student manager (totally on his own) deflated the footballs that USC used in their possessions against the Ducks ...the refs caught it...sure, it was without the knowledge of the head coach Lane ...just like when they "inadvertently" changed the number of their QB in an earlier game to the same number used by their kicker...and then used a "trick play" by faking a kick by that "hidden QB" ...boooooo.... Somehow, some brilliant repubs , have  equated the down day in the stocks to the election of the Prez...has nothing to do with the European plummet of their stocks...which, in fact, is a bewilderment to me, in itself... The Padre's catcher...Yasmani Grandal ...the Cuban sensation...

In a very close race , Prez O , won the presidency for four more years...and, I am going to tell you, Mitt's concession speech was wonderful...I am serious, I could have lived with him as the boss...not my choice, but could have done it...there is such a great allegiance to both sides of the parties...it's cool, it's all about checks and balances... the 1st important item? ... finding a worthy replacement for Hillary as Secretary of State ...as she did a marvelous job...2nd most difficult position in our government... Do you tweet ?...it gives you an instant insight to what's going on throughout this land...of course, it depends on whom you decide to follow...I have like almost 400 tweeters on my list...and included in that, a number of news and sports services...try it out... Have you heard of any hanging chads?...just a bunch of long lines ...and this...I think all polls should close at the same time...but, not sure the rest of the country feels the same way....

Finally, FINALLY! , it is here... Election Day ...the country will decide who is their leader for the next 4 years...that is, if there is enough electorates in the Electoral College ...just may have to go to the House of Reps, otherwise...and there will be tales of voter fraud, hanging chads, voter intimidation, and on and on...by the loser(s)...yup, this is big business...with billions of $ spent to get their candy man elected...it's not a perfect system, but I haven't heard of a better one...so... you may find this hard to believe...but, I am OK with either guy...don't get me wrong, my vote is for Obama ...but, Mitt is a decent man...and if the country says it should be him, so be it...don't think it will...so, dust off the TV screen and embed yourself...we, by our new tradition, will head down to the Gaslamp Strip Club ( for you not in the know, its a grill your own NY steak eatery) for a meal and drinks, just like we did 4 years ago... The sublime... Danc...

No, I am not saying that the creep is getting closer... I AM SAYING that the Ducks are closing in on Alabama ...it's like watching a great fast break basketball game (remember when?)...as Oregon and USC , playing up to ability (finally), had a wonderous shoot out...62-51... UO ...and oddly, and in true Vegas style, the Trojans scored their final score with one second left...remember, the line was 8...ha ha... We were finished with our tourney at 2ish, so we had enough time to check in to the hotel (?) and get to the bar for the game...Brawley had very cheap beer, 24 ozs. for $3...you can imagine how I was...and the other blokes were for USC ...a super fun game to watch...am not so disappointed at the defense as others...they were there, but just didn't wrap... Del Rio GC ...Brawley...out of bounds all over the place...even one in the interior of the course...and greens that were sllllooooowwww...yet, consistent...every one of them were the same...I think our team ha...
