So we had this dinner last night and as we were cleaning up this AM, I noticed the fine China, was in fact... MADE IN CHINA ....so, the more I looked, all the dishes...stoneware, all of it, was made there...ho hum...put on my Nike's to take the dog out, what?  They were made in China...the leash was made there, too...the bed, the mattress, the sofa, the end tables, the dining room table, the chairs, the new lamp for my computer, the list goes on and on...all MADE IN CHINA ...now GM, is doing their cars there...no wonder we have a 10% unemployment rate... Caught the 1st half of the Heat / Knicks game... LeBron is a specimen ...and NY plays absolutely no defense..nada...nilch...nunca...none...maybe they can import a,  oops, leave that alone... The Padres ...total inept management...original deal was for the SS Bartlett (with that name, how can he possibly be good? ) coming in for 2 players...well, it wasn't going to happen, so SD added 2 more prospects and got a player to...

Here's my beef ...without a doubt, the best wideout in the NFL is Vincent Jackson ...and sure, he's out there somewhere...and sure, he wants more money in his contract...and sure, the Bolts can't afford him... WAIT , this is not the Padres , and yes, they can...the Godfather of the Bolts , AJ Smith , has this thing about VJ ...well, look at last night...against your 49ers ...he caught 3 TD passes and was a thing of beauty...get it right Godfather and sign him...oh by the way, SD won easily and continue their last gasp at the playoffs...need KC to stumble sometime soon... how about Sunday? Tax relief ...do you get what is going in your Congress?  Some type of reduction in SS...and with all the special interest pork barrel crap...why do the lobbyists have to run this country? So, NY Jets , you are going to tell the football world that, your weights trainer , and only your weights trainer, concocted a scheme , to line up the injured and dilapidated non-in uniform Jets , in a perfect wall , on the sidelines, soooo the Dolphins tackler, who has shown on the video, that he runs outside the field of play and, thus, would be hindered by this ploy...and yup, the NY brass had no idea you were doing this...ah, yea, you own the "Wall of Shame"... Sing Off ...my heart stopped a beat...when the judges left off the older group for the finals...but no, it was another ploy...they kept all four of the remaining groups for next week's finals....their "House of the Rising Sun" was absolutely the best rendition of the show...period... I popped off the other night at the Christmas Party , about how I thought the team to beat in the NBA was the Celtics ...and marveled last night at the Boston win at the resurrected Knicks house...the NY coach...

Hey, I am telling you the truth...when we had our little baby boy, 30 years ago, it changed our lives...it was the best and still is...the good Dr. Cris gets to celebrate his day, today... I've been thinking about getting an electric car , but don't know where we would plug it in to charge it up... So I tried to pick the winners of the Division 1 bowl games...good God, I have no clue... The only sure thing in the lives of the stars is that sooner or later they will get a divorce ...but they will get one, or two, or three... The Golden Globe nominees were announced...were you like me, you got goosebumps? Speaking of that sort of, Glee was nominated, and my fav new singer, Lea Michele ...wish she would release an album of her stuff... I was going to do my annual "worst of the year" piece...then I thought to myselves...why not do the "most help needed" piece in lieu of...call it the wurst ... Of course leading the list must be the Padres ...from just one game out of the playoffs, to a complete dismantling of what that team was...and with no credence to it's season tix holders...blind faith is what they were calling it...put together a mish mash of rag tag players that the management calls a major league team...well, they need help.... Your Portland Blazers ...when there was a lot of movement in the trading field in the off season, the PDX upper echelon stood firm...and what was that draft all about?  You fire the GM the day before it and then have him do the drafting anyway?  What?  It smells a wurst smell of all smells... WikiLeaks ...how oh how, can the smartest and most powerful nation in the world allow a young buck of 21 to have such high access to the most secretive information that...

Gosh, what a smack to the KC Chiefs ... 31-0 , and it could have (should have) been a whole lot worse... SD had more of it's injured parts back and it made a huge diff...and, the brain trust put Cason back to receive kicks...great change...OK...here's what it takes to make the playoffs...the Chargers must win their last 3 ( SF here, at Cincy , and at Denver ), all doable ...and KC has to lose one of their last...it's the NFL and I wouldn't bet on anything... Did you watch any of the Jets / Dolphins game?  QB Sanchez is in the tank...and he needs to be yanked...his stats are soooo bad... Is there any one hotter than the Pats ? And what's the deal in Cincy ...are they that bad? The Cowboys are much better, and the Ware guy is ferocious... The Shark Shoot Out ...is it just me, or, are the dominant players European?   And yup, we've been having a heat wave, 80* yesterday, and similar today...and yup, I'm hitting the links out at Sycuan... This San Diego St . hoop team is for real...trouncing the inept USD squad...so athletic and a stud power guy in Leonard ... Geez, I saw where the Ducks played Willamette ... what? UNLV got beat on the road...surprised me... Can anyone stop Duke this season? When do the conference  games begin? With all the turmoil in Haiti , the conservatives sent over your gurl Sarah ... what? Talked to a guy last night at the office party (?) who swears by your gurl Sarah , and apparently his gurl ...says what this country needs is somebody who isn't blessed with all the intelligence that guys like Prez O and Prez Clinton have....need somebody who is down to earth...well, I told him, that's your gurl...I can't make this up... this story is for real ... With all the Christmas spirit around here, I have also been very aware of the Hanukkah presence in our hood...makes me wonder where the Festivus people are...have seen lit trees, outside lights, Xmas signs, gads of Xmas...
