You know there is no better thing than being with family...you all know what I mean...and we are doing so... Traveled to a golf course yesterday over the mountains, east of SB...River Run...in Solvang...what a cool town...all Scandanavian...the buildings and all...had no idea it existed...way cool... The golf was fantastic!   Albeit the fastest greens ever...OK, it took me about 14 holes to figure out the speed of 'em...so fun...I still can't believe M can play as well as she does for only doing so 3 or 4 times a year... If the quote by your girl Sarah is accurate...on immigration...well, she must have flunked geography...duh... It's warming up in Buffalo...so here comes the flooding and all... Today we go shopping...if you have never been to Santa Barbara, you are missing out on one of the beautiful places in our country... Ducks at 1:30 today tipoff...Pac 12 Network...not sure if we get that here... Miss you LC, and will not go into details on my blog... T...

Man, does it seem that most of the issues of the land has to do with oil? ...could be, that's why we are so involved in the Middle East?...or closer to home...how about the Keystone Pipeline ?...where the senate has just failed to get the vote to pass the bill to allow the Canadian oil to come into this country...by a single vote... So what are we talking about? ...some say it is dirty oil...or some say that it passes through some environmental zones that may be affected...definitely through South Dakota...where my people are upset about it...and it has become a party line issue...some say that Prez O may have had to either sign  it into law or veto it...and yet, he has been ambivalent to it's passage... How do you feel about it?...it certainly has merit...and it has it's druthers... I am firmly in the middle... Not so, when it comes to the Football Committee ....as they leapfrogged Oregon with Alabama ...as the number one team in the nation...I figured the bye had ...

Or lack thereof...as there are more and more mass killings of people for, get this, religious reasons...what?...of all possibles...and this gets me more than anything I write about...why?...is there such a blind fervor that this can be an interpretation of a God?...how is this?...today, and isn't it everyday?...the murders at a Synagogue in Israel, by some Palestinians...no justification...none whatsoever...religious fervor... And the pending riots of St Louis...with the grand jury findings...to be released...calmer heads must prevail... Sports and me...what I do... NBA ...as I have been saying for some time now...the 2 teams that get way too much attention and just aren't the boss...the Cavs and the Clips ...there is a major flaw in Cleveland...they are not vertical...and, with Lebron losing so much weight...and the overblown hype of their very average PG Irving...well, it's going to implode...and...the Clips have the pizzazz, but not the technique needed to get ...

Yup, Monday morn , kids...and I'm a taking this sorry arse out to the links in a short bit...eegads, I am struggling off the tee...using my older driver today...that has to be it!...ha ha...one of my golfing blokes, keeps telling me to keep my head down...ah, if it was that simple... And we awake to a very cool 58*...should be like 50* out at Sycuan...and rise to 70* in a couple of hours...now, this is cold for us around here... The Pats show why they are one of the best year after year...almost perfect blocking schemes...which free up the likes of this Grey character...who had 4 td's in a romp at Indy...in contrast, the lack of decent O line play by the Bolts, allowed the Raiders to hang around and almost get their 1st win of the season...our QB Rivers, got pummeled yet again...c'mon, he's not that young...and it's gotta hurt...and what on earth?...the Broncos got whupped by the Rams?...2 of my wideouts went down ...and that means trouble for my FF team...both...

Hey now, kids...there's nothing like playing in the snow ...with this weather blast that is sweeping the country, there is the grrrreeeaaattt college football games that are doing just that...and it was fun watching some of them...I dunno, but it's just way cool to watch snow...and then be in it ...been awhile for us transplanted Oregonians... Let's get to the scores...as 'Bama did do it's thang and beat the top ranked (no mas) Mississippi St ...and surely moved into the top 4... Florida St and TCU each survived scares...by much lower type squads...and oh lordy, the much maligned Beavs pulled the upset of the year...knocking off Ariz St! ...well, I am the one that has ripped OSU ...well, others, too...maybe the Sun Devils just don't like the cold...and kiss the season bye bye Auburn ...as they got shellacked by Georgia ...
