CRAZY HORSE

UO won the PAC 12 Champ game...convincingly...in a way that blew me away... playing great D ...it took awhile, but the O finally came around....and it was no match versus the Cats... domination on both lines was the key... Marcus Mariota ...the leading candidate for the best player in the land...was off throwing the ball in the 1st half...not so in the 3rd Q...and it was OVER!... curiously 'Zona pulled their QB at half ...I guess he must have been injured...and the lights were out... So, the Ducks took care of themselves...and now it's up to the other top teams to hold serve...I see 'Bama in a romp versus Mizzou...no match...and FSU to stop the Georgia Tech triple option...and the other team?...dunno...upsets?...the Badgers to beat the Buckeyes...maybe not, as they are favored...TCU in a laugher...fav by 34...and Baylor in a tossup against KSU...hmmm... You ever heard of Swaggy P? ...bloke who plays for the Lake Show...hasn't seen a shot he doesn't like......

Not often do I have stress about somebody else's game...this one I do...as the Ducks are in a must win situation in the Bay Area...curiously a 14 1/2 fav over Arizona ...here's my beef...the Cats have a better D, at least better coached...I have said this all season... There is no better QB in the land than Mariota ...none...and it will be up to his leadership to outscore 'Zona...it may take 60 points...really...nope, I'm not talking hoops... 6 pm on Fox... Speaking of the latter...the annual cross town game was held last eve... SDSU vs USD ...and I got home in time to see the 2nd half...eegads, an ugly one... the Aztecs couldn't hit a free throw ...an achilles heal to the team in the year's past...if the shooting coach was a Pad, he would be fired...ha ha...anyway, SDSU won it...they are long and lean, and not great shooters...duh... Our 1st holiday party was out at La Jolla...in a house by the ocean...had to be a $2 million casa...a whole gaggle ...

One of the clear advantages to a smart phone is the access to the web net...and you can find out info rather fast...just Ask Google ...I always wonder how these services get and stay funded...not my issue today... I consider myself more of a realist than a theorist ...the way I write is more of what I see happening, rather than what I HOPE does...and most are keen observations of being around so long...and my day to day take on the breaking stories that fill the pixels and the written word...and on the web net... Peops have asked me why I don't write books ...I have...actually finished one...and started like 6 or so others...it's hard to do...keep going on a singular thought for 200 or so pages...I seem to get to the point too quickly...and then get bored with my "good" idea...thus, I do this blog gig...and I find it a ton of fun...have a goodly amount of readers...mostly the silent type...and I could care less about my diction...AND...I am a terrible typer...an...

Big win for the Portland Trailblazers! ...and you know, I don't get to see enough of these games...guess I have to get the NBA Package...dang, I didn't want to spend the $ to watch... Aldridge threw in 39 points...has to be his best ever, right?...or close to it... The Lake Show won, too...boo...but your guy, Kobe, had a putrid 11 turnovers....and only 12 points...saw a bit of this one...boo... The top 4 T results out for football.... 1. Alabama ...probably right..... 2. Oregon ...love the rank... 3. TCU ...leapfrogged FSU... 4. FSU ...embattled program, that is smelly...the interesting one just a bit out... 7. Arizona ...if a win versus the Ducks, could garner number 4... If it's Wednesday, it must be the line... the betting line ...and the Ducks have increased to 14 1/2...hmmm...why is this?...and the number 5 Ohio St Buckeyes are 4 point dogs to 13th ranked Wisconsin...say what?...and in the Bolt/Pat game, SD is also a 4 point underdog...put up or shut up......

Battin' down the hatches, mateys...secure the outside pillows...find your rain gear...get yourself some sand bags...where's the damn umbrella?...I can't find my jeans... I'm sure I saw an ark type vessel in the bay ...even, a flash flood watch... Yup, the storm is coming our way...and the TV blokes are real excited...I can smell it in the air...one of my many attributes... we are going to get real rain ...like the PNW type...and lordy, we need it...how many times have I heard that tune?...the length and duration is spread all the way up to LA, maybe even SB... OK, we went shopping yesterday...and I have to admit there were a bunch of sales...like minimum of 25% off...mostly all of the stores had it at 40% ...really...and I am amazed at the amount of biz at the Apple Store...incredible...this is party week, so we had to find appropriate attire for the missus to wear... "Rain drops are falling on my head..." ... BJ Thomas... The Padres did it again....

Is there not a name for every day leading up to Christmas?... Cyber Monday ...which must mean you are going to get inundated with ads on your computer, right?...as far as I can tell, it's the same amount of them...and the deals seem to be in the 20% off range...hmmm... The closing day out at Del Mar was great...the seats we had were the best we have ever sat in out there...a table that my buddy Andy got...and he couldn't make it for health reasons...right in front of the scoreboard, the finish line, the winning horse pix area, with our very own waitress, the best of all spots...unencumbered...hit a couple of long shots that kept my margin of error quite small...which is a good thing... A lot of commotion around the park...and the noise was very interesting...as there was no race going on...maybe, in the off-track area I thought...no...it was the Bolts making a big comeback at Baltimore against the Ravens...and it switched to the big screen as we saw SD win it in the las...

It went as I expected... the Civil War ...as the Ducks had a free march to the Pac 12 Playoffs...well, they didn't have to win the game...but...the meaning of it was greater than that...as to keep in the running for the top 4 in the pais... a victory was a must... Shot right out to a 30-0 start...and it was over... Mariota was splendid...shoot the team was a clicking...and off they go to play...Arizona!...if UO is one of the top in the country, they must beat the best from the south ...very good stuff...just wondering this...how many games has he played in their entirety?... I must mention the Beavers ...the hot rumor abounding is that next year they are going to feature a running QB...does this mean they are going back to an option offense?...OMG! ...this is a bad program and you Nation Faithful, you are being tested yet again...good luck... Alabama beat Auburn in their rivalry game...they call it the "Iron Bowl"...and tell me I'm wrong, but the Tide looked...
