I bet you don't know this guy...recently got the axe from the Western Kentucky men's hoop team...here's the story...just got beat in OT...and it seems that the opponent had 6 guys on the floor at the time of the winning hoop..at the buzzer ...not so funny, said the Rajun Cajun' s AD ...you should have protested such an atrocity...so they said...and after a 5-11 start this season, and a fine 63-35 (about) record in the seasons before, and the afore mentioned guffaw... Ken McDonald was fired...and he also took a $100,000 pay cut to stay this season...and...the AD said that the attendance was too far down at Diddle Arena ...I can't make this stuff up... Just as I go and praise the Blazers ...they go out and look like crap at Phoenix ...no resemblance to the night before...and just walked through the entire evening...too many issues to talk about...just a sad effort....boo... It's a foregone conclusion that the GOP is going to nominate and endorse Mitt ......

Let there be no doubt that there is a new dog in town....yup, them Portland Trailblazers ...as they crushed the LA Lakers last night in PDX...and this team is DEEP!. ..as I have said before, I'm not sure what they do, but it has been going well.... WELL ...they are running and using their athleticism...and like the Clips , are fun to watch...geez, they go 10 deep... in depth ...the guards are so much better than last season's (Miller and BRoy) ... Wallace is getting better...and Nate has unleashed 'em...play tougher D...albeit their ancient center tandem...they are still physical...and use the scoring of Aldridge ...who plays much like Sheed in my view... TNT. ..had little to do with finishing a 3 OT'er with the Heat and hapless Hawks ...geez, without the King and Dwayne , Miami still won...so the country only got to see the 2nd half of the PDX /LA game... And did you catch that the Kings fired their coach, Paul Westfall , already!...Not my fav, but c'...

The GOP has sprung the latest curve ball at us..from absolutely NOWHERE comes their latest favorite... Rick Santorum ...as he comes in a virtual tie with the ever so rich, Mitt Romney ...in the Iowa Caucuses ...and hang on to your New Hampshire Derby Cap ...'cuz what your going to feel for the next week will be the onslaught of the Romney Money Train ...this time towards the newbie... Santorum ... And, the pundits had a field day...as they were in unison in saying he couldn't keep it up... BECAUSE ...he didn't have the money backing that Romney has and will use against him...isn't it a sad day that this side of the tix will probably be bought, not won...or, is that true? Didn't it seem like there were as many press there as voters?...Geez, there were not many folks showing up and doing what they have an option to do...what was the final, like 121,000 total?...talk about a small sampling...but, with that being the case... If you are not playing for the BSBCS Champ game , this is the best one left...and against a very worthy opponent...the Wisconsin Badgers ...who could...and I say could...win this game...great O and D line size...with the ability to hang on to the ball for an extended period of time...with a great, strong, durable, running back....and a better than advertised QB...don't get me going...this is a great team out of the midwest... HOWEVER ...they have not played the likes of the speed of the Duckees ...nor the pace of play that Chip Kelly will throw at them...and the size could be their downfall, as they may get tired chasing the U of O lads about...and the heat...70*...I'm afraid to tell you that it favors our beloved Ducks ...this is a little pix of us while in Maui watching 'em play, just a bit ago...and our amigos, the Snookis, doing the same.... Well, did you get your buzz on last night?...not here, kids...as we are still feeling the effects of that food poisoning....and sure, I haven't felt the need to change my eating desires...so... Is there a better example of the stupidity of the number of bowl games than the one held in SF, with the two teams both sporting losing records?...naw...the Illinois/UCLA fiasco...however...tomorrow the real games begin...and I have interest in the Rose, the Sugar, and the BSBCS Champ game...the rest they can flush... NBA ... the Blazers travel south here to play the Clips...and we'll see just how good PDX is...and really, how good are the Clips...the line is 3 1/2 for the home team...I will watch this one...
