And the Padres go scoreless again!  Now, that's 6 out of 20 games , if you are keeping track...and the GM says about the stats of Rizzo in the PCL, "I think the industry discounts PCL stats to a large extent " ... what a beauty, don't you have a mind of your own? ....as he is only batting .452 ...grow up Hoyer and swallow the humble pill ...you screwed up...get him up here and you can take all the glory... Lilo and her court stuff ...she just gets deeper and deeper...finally gets a 4 month jail sentence...so, it's back to jail...well...what's the solution?  Try to turn her around...is jail the answer? Golf... the PGA continues to go unnoticed without the biggees in...wait, where are they?  And the LPGA , are they even playing anymore?  Sad case for sure... Just why is the price of gas rocketing so high? Hybrid rigs ...the mileage I'm seeing just isn't that much better than some of the better gas only ones...what am I missing here? No n...

Geez... the Padres have been blanked, zeroed, shut out, stopped, ripped, humbled, humiliated, stomped, pulverized...you get the idea...5 out of 19 times thus far... the team is a miserable one ...and now the defense is plummeting...only get credited with a couple of errors, but made at least 3 more than that in their embarrassing 3-0 loss to the Phillies ...not because they lost , but how they did ...it's time to plug some of the huge gaps in the dam... bring up some youngins and live with it ...ps...don't blame it on the pitching, GM... The Blazers win!  The Blazers win!  The Blazers win!  Finally, they finish off the game...well, maybe you could say survived ....and, they got the lead without Miller , again...and yet, back he comes on the floor to finish the game...geez, he's not good kids... That's it today...we are off to Ikea for some closet crap ...and then it's to the beach for a bike ride... life is rough, kids ...

There's just 9 days until the...naw, I can't go on with this...I just can't believe you people buy into this garbage of the "Royal Wedding" ...this monarch crap ...are you crazy man?  With all the unrest in the world the Brits convince the rest of you to follow this deluge of silliness... I understand your desire to watch the pomp and circumstance...but the importance of the wedding?  Naw, no not me... On to the more serious things... the Padres salvaged another game as I have duly noted late last night...they are playing like I thought...however, the pitching is better...the hitting is woeful ...I say to the GM...bring up Rizzo , plug him at 1B and live with it...and OMG , Ludwick woke up! And I am officially a member out at Sycuan ...and am really happy that I have that over with...it is a great complex with 3 18 hole courses ...look it up online and you'll see what I am a part of... And finally, Idol ... any one of these seven could be bumped ......

Bad baseball, very bad baseball....BAD BASEBALL...catch this...you are a big league team... the Padres ...you are leading in the top of the 9th... up one, 5-4 ...your leadoff guy gets walked ...you pinch hit your normal starting 2nd baseman...all good thus far... obvious bunt sit, right?   Nope, not SD ...your 2B has struck out 10 of his last 16 at bats ....and you don't bunt ...you try a hit and run...of course, he makes no contact ...the runner is nailed at 2nd easily ...then your 2B batter goes out meekly ...of course, the next batter up singles sharply to center...oh yea, would have been an insurance run ...and...he then gets picked off trying to steal... OMG! So the Pads bring in their closer, Heath Bell , to erase the utter stupidity of the offense... and he does his job...and wins...BUT, it's bad baseball kids... .VERY BAD BASEBALL ....

So most of the MLB teams have played about 16 games...and there are odd situations already in fold...and, of course, the obvious remains just so.... The surprises...the Cleveland (Indians ?) leading the central over Kansas City !!!  Nobody, nobody, saw that coming ...staying in the American League, the abysmal start of the Red Sox , 5 and 10...in the National, the Rockies jumping out fast and leading the west...and the Mets floundering....and, by the way, that won't change NY. ... The obvious...the Yankees and Phillies are playing just like their money said they would....and the Padres ...well... One of the more dubious observations ... the attendance at the games...let's look at it for yesterday...in Colorado, 60% full, Philadelphia, 100%, Baltimore, 30%, Boston, 100%, LA Dodgers, 50%, Cincinnati, 30%, Tampa Bay, 33%, Kansas City, 33%, and Chicago Cubs, 75%...which in fact, was ridiculous, as there was less than 1/2 full...you see, the teams count the season tix ho...

It was time for a cool, bike ride around the bay...our destination was the Point Loma Fish House , for lunch...we have this path that is parallel to the water that starts at Seaport Village , goes by the Cruise Ship Docks , past the airport , past Harbor Island , and gets us right to Shelter Island ...yup, the place that has Humphrey's , where we watch many a concert...turns out, there was a huge street fair...that duh, we didn't know about...and the Fish House was way packed...so we kept going...ended up at the Bay House , a tiny little spot that was right on the water...and had t he best clam chowder , well...not as good as Mo's , but right up there...by the time we were set to go back, the fog had rolled in...felt like we were at the coast...and can't believe how many people were out yesterday, and biked back... nice ride ... NBA ...not so surprised about the Lakers ...I have told you all along that the PG Fisher is way overmatched anymore...and Paul had his ...

It's a couple of weeks away, but the equine sporting event of the year is upon us... THE KENTUCKY DERBY ...never been there and it's on my list...and the fav, according to T Bone is... Mucho macho man ...now, this is a sport you can bet on... What on earth was that mess that PDX and Dallas played last night?  I can say what the NBA players and coaches can't...the curious exorbitant amount of touch fouls going Dirk's way...it's a shame, maybe a sham , that a game can be called in that manner...and, why oh why, does Andre Miller get so much playing time?  He can't shoot, defend, jump ....does he always go beneath screens?  So to counter that, Nate switches everything...so Dirk comes over, runs a pick for the guy that Miller is shading , and boom... Miller is shading Dirk. .. duh ...reminder to all of you...my hint for the Blazers , to win, Andre must pass the ball, not shoot it ...it's not looking good PDX ...unless... Geez, another downer on...
