As we celebrate the end of '22, and bring in the new year...and the Horse is listening to a newbie, Lainey Wilson, warble some country ...she chirruped out a real fun one, 'Watermelon Moonshine'...is this real?...can you make moonshine out of watermelon?...always looking for a new taste experience...apparently, it is a concoction that is mighty tasty...that, depending on how you brew it, can be very potent...BTW, she can really sang...yup, it is old style country...I'm kind of a fool for that... So, are you gonna party tonight?...the Home doesn't have one...too much liability on the condo, as the elders are not to be trusted ...(joke)...figure 85% imbibe on a regular basis in this place...heathens...there is the tele...that we will be viewing...Nashville has a bash that looks like a goodie...of course, there are those foos from CNN, that get drunk on air, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper (silly laugh)...Ryan Secrest hosts the youngins type of 'music'...Dolly a...

A big hearty, HELLO, to all this fine am...as we prepare to wrap up this year...2022 ...put it in the storage where the past 74 have been kept...knowing full well, that this body has never had as many vaccinations in it, since my very youthful days...witnessing the biggest political debacle of the 3/4ths of a century that this bod has lived...tickled at the recent changes in the only major league team the city (town?) has in it...the grand kid list increased to two...and our yearly discussion of moving, still put to rest...yup, bye bye, '22... The day of the audits are gone...right Fonny? ...today, his taxes are gonna be released on whomever wants to scrutinize 'em...the public...enough of the 'they are being audited'...his constant flip flam of a statement...the Horse shall wait, and see what is there...more charades, I reckon...you forevers, are you watching?... Hey, kids...you tired of watching the college football bowls?...not me ...as I have no entry in any pool......

Or is that 'Doink?'...so many times, a football match is decided by the kicker who plays 0 minutes in the game ...well, other than the times he comes out to kick the rock... as far as blocking, tackling, catching, running, or throwing the 'pigskin', nope ...it is the nature of this sport...a field goal...a punt...an xtra point...these dudes are special...so outta character from the rest of the squad...does he even run the wind sprints at practice?... The Holiday Bowl in SD...at the beisbol park, as I told you yesterday ... UO vs UNC ...gosh, the festivities beforehand were great...the bands, the parachutists, the Natty Anthem singer...all first class...the seats we had were awesome...lower level...and much to my surprise, the Boss was digging it all.. .the mass of Duck fans...roughly 80%, I guess...and as per usual, I saw nobody I knew ...weird and wack...not sure if it was a sellout, but almost... The game...both good teams ...the Tar Heels were really good on D, ter...

There are significant things to talk about today...let's start with the fun one ... GO DUCKS! ...as the Oregon Ducks are facing off with the North Carolina Tar Heels ...tonight over at Petco Park...yup, the beisbol yard of the Friars...guess the football field fits in there...as our seats are on the lower level...who knows what part of the rectangle... the rains have come and left, during the nite...so we hope ...nevertheless, I hope that most of the real players are in the lineups...as many do not play in the bowl games...saving themselves for the possibility of the next tier pf play in the NFL... The fans?...we took an extended bike ride yesterday ...all the way to Point Loma fish house...for lunch...and passed by a gaggle of people, all over the bay front...guess what?... saw ZERO Ducks or Tar Heels !!! ...is this cuz of Southwest Air?...I took this photo of the SWA planes just sitting at the SD airport...4 of 12 that I could see from the bike path.. .JUST SITTING! ... Which ...

This is disconcerting to me, BIG TIME ...there is trouble in the skies...traveling by the airplan e...as cancelations are going rampant...try this on for size... ALL Southwest Airline flights were CANCELED out of San Diego yesterday!!! ...what?...there have been cancellations of some Alaska Air flights up and down the west coast, too...what is going on?...personally, we have a Cabo trip in 3 weeks...via Southwest...ah, do NOT want to get stranded there... BREAKING ...more of the same for TODAY!...70% of the Southwest flights canceled again... With the Holiday Bowl tomorrow...not only is there rain in the forecast...but, with the airlines out of whack, are the fans going to get here? ...we went on a bike ride yesterday, and only saw one set of Duck fans and one set of UNC fans...you'd think by now, the streets of SD would be slammed with peops from both areas... The LaLa Chargers, once the proud SDers...made it to the playoffs last eve ...I follow cuz of the QB Herbert, the Duck..ma...

This is the final week of the year 2022...the 52nd one ...time for some last bill paying...egads, just after Xmas...BTW, how was yours?... we celebrated by going to the beach and spending our time, with our closest thousand amigos that had the same idea ...think the temp got to 77*! ...I will end me blog today with the pix of the fam next to us, who had their Christmas Tree on the beach, in the sand...this is how we do it down here, apparently...then, via some visual thang via the web, showed presents of the Gahr and us...good stuff...I can't tell you what they were, this is not X-rated...ha ha... A full day of the hoops on the tele...but, I watched the football instead ...is it just me, or is Baker Mayfield, given a bum rap?...and what on earth is that show the Broncos put on, like they just mailed that effort in...and yes, not sure how the FF playoffs work, but I was down 30+ to start...like no chance...you really don't care about that, do you... This year has been a strange ...

Christmas ...morning kids... a very merry one to you all! ... in hopes that your day is festive, bright, has meaning, and is what you hoped, it would be ...the Horse home had their turkey din din last nite...so good...as we are doing the spaghetti today...yum...I am starting the day off right...and this will tickle you...it is the album by Michael Buble ...absolutely terrific...puts me in a giddy mood...
