CRAZY HORSE

So we were congregated on the 10th floor...perfect viewing of the multi-stationed fireworks that would light up the bay...quite often it is synchronized...so cool...and we planned on going over to another building, half way through, and watch the rest of the show...a bit closer to the bay... AND THEN. .. POOF! ....what?... the loudest kaboom I have ever heard ...shock and awe...3 of the launching pads let out the most spectacular light show...like 10 seconds worth...must have been the 5 minute warning...and ten became twenty became thirty...minutes...no more fireworks...they all were detonated at the same time...all of them...the rumor was that the order was given to hit the all button...which in fact was "all of them"...reportedly 70-100,000 people were aghast ...boooooooooooo.... And way over in Arizona, another blast was felt all the way here... the Pads swept the DBacks ....and sport a 5 game win streak! ...what?...the young guns are the reason...and the oldsters are ...

Birthday of the country ...loads of fireworks around here....and there are a series of parties we are going to...all in these high rises so we can see them in spectacular fashion...up and down the bay and beach...and thanks for the asking, I can handle the heights better...at least, than before... The Pads are still the underdogs, for the 7th straight week ...and have won 7 of 10...must be driving the odds guys wack...as SD has gone bonkers with their young guns banging the ball...duh, Crazy Horse, has been recommending this all season...why don't they listen to me?...kind of a problem, though...ace flame thrower, Cashner , was pulled after 2 innings with a muscle problem...hope that's all it is... Think about how we used to pay bills ...write the checks, lick the stamps, balance the books...repeat...now, with the internet...all this is done with online banking....and, if you keep enough dough in the account, it is free...and you can check your balance any time you want...

Is it just me or is this version lame? The Bachelorette ...in fact, uncomfortable...yup, I watched it last night...and the match system is awkward...and...she is sure free with her lip lockers...no gal I know (ever) would have been like this...something is wrong...and the bloke she let go...well, duh...I dunno, it's just a weird situation... Do you remember when it was a kid's dream to have the entire set of Topp's Baseball Cards? ...yup, my group of guys in the 50's....and I had a bunch of 'em, but never a complete set...and I had my favs.... Rocco Colavito ...but my most prized was the '57 Mickey Mantle ... We moved, and the cards got tossed...probably the only thing my mom ever threw away...and I have rued that day ever since... Time moved on and this young feller came along...our own son...and he got into the card collecting...sure you are saying...influenced by me...not what I ever did...and he got a bunch of 'em...far more than me...and we have moved... Now he moved to Santa Barbara ...I wonder if he took his cards with him...or did someone accidentally toss 'em?.... To my esteem colleague in the great state of Orygun...please temper your responses to the latest and not the last issue of this campaign...hey, the GOP hasn't yet endorsed Mitt...and the rest of that party has already decided the platform that their candidate will use...there are many unanswered Q's out there on OCare...and you have to figure every phase will be highly debated in Congress...so, cool your jets...you'll have ample time to vent...
