BREAKING!!! The Thomas Fire is now approaching the cities of Montecito and Santa Barbara!!! Get out now...this is Hell on Earth... I can't make this stuff...up...we were in a celebration mode for the birth date of our child...hmmm, no longer a baby...nonetheless...off we went to the beach for lunch...the weather was UNBELIEVABLE ...mid 70's and near perfect... Top down on the Beamer. ..and were cruising about...and lo and behold, found a parking spot a block away from our destination...it's a Festivus Miracle! ...had to inspect the rental unit that he owns...perfect...then, we went over and rented bikes for a jaunt down the board walk in Mission Beach... Our destination? ...a rooftop restaurant that featured sushi and what my choice of choices would be, loco moco... pictured here, is one of the sites along the way ...all decked out for the season... yes, we celebrate Xmas just like you do... Gads and gads of vacation rentals , put us in the mood of possibly re...

I'n not sure if it is meant to be good...or what... Funky ...I think more of it when I hear James Brown or Joe Tex , singing...hey, it's all gotta be good...come to think about it...but when it's used like, 'well, that's kind a funky' ...that seems to be in the negative...one of them words, that can go either way...my choice today... On last eve's TNT or TBS NBA telecast...there was a discussion about whether or not, King James, is the best in the biz ... ALL TIME ...the former players that were there... Oscar Robertson, Dr J, Shaq, Chas, Lisa Leslie, amongst others ...put him in the top 5 or so...some top 3...hmmm...he has lasted a long time...but, better than MJ, Kareem, Bill Russell, or Kobe?...naw... The featured game had the LaLa Lakers at the Cavs ...of course, the main story was LeBron and Lonzo Ball ...listen, once Lonzo alters his shot, he will be right in the upper echelon of the present day league...he has to fight through the awful path...

Hi kids...this is a QUICKSTER , as I have an early tee time...hope all is well...let's see, we have 12 days 'til Christmas ...you have your agenda set?...what you are cooking?...all the presents ordered or purchased?...church times?...so much to check up on... Alabama chose the Demo...for their senatorial seat... Doug Jones ...some have heralded this as a huge upset ...and a decisive vote against Prez T. ..well, it's NOT an upset...and the bloke who was the Repub, Roy Moore, was unfit to be the candidate ...here's my take...almost half of the voting public in that state, voted for him ...shouldn't one vote on the best candy man, rather than only on party lines?...however, the notion of a vote against the President...may be true... Two of the poorer NBA teams played in the Big Apple last eve...the host Knicks and the LaLa Lakers ...it was a terrific game...really ...the two players that drew the most interest, NY's Porzingis (sic) and the Lake Show...

What decade are we in? ...the Senatorial Election is today in Alabama , for one of their prized seats...to head on up to DC... have you seen and heard the candidates?. ..oh my...as those, who could have changed the choices, like the party...threw up their arms, and declared 'let's let the people (voters) decide' ...not sure if I have heard a more libel speech as the Repub's wife gave yesterday...you WILL hear parts of it on the pixels...brace yourself for the outcome...oh yea...the blokes...for the Demos, Doug Jones ...and for the Repubs, Roy Moore ... Our voting process is like many others...not sure how accurate it really is... who gets to vote, who counts 'em, and what is in fact, a hanging chad? ...I digress... The uncertainty of the direction of the Ventura Fire ...at this time over the mountain of Santa Barbara ...has caused evacuations to parts of the city...an absolute horror of times for all... and our kids ...they are north, waiting it out...however, I have suggested that they make their way down here to stay with us...even if the people are not in the path, the air quality is deadly...masks are a necessity, if one has to go outside...imagine the stress of it all...so many people in SoCal having to endure this... We have a livestream of a TV station there in SB... KEYT ...to stay abreast of the situation...if interested, you can get it on the web net...this global warming is one scary thing...if the powers to be don't address it, we are all in peril... wake up, Congress , DO YOUR JOB! ... Hey kids...I got home at half time of THE game... Navy / Army ...er, Army/Navy...and watched the rest of it...terrific show!...in the SNOW! ...as the weather heads up the NE coastline...these teams are filled with players who have chosen to lead us for awhile...in the service...so, the fray has special meaning to me, and hopefully to many of you out there... Very similar to last year's game...eerily...as the Cadets marched down the field in the 4th Q for the go ahead TD...and the Middies had one last chance to get the W... a FG try went wide left and the Hudson River inhabitants went wild...they won two years in a row! ...hey, it was an awesome game... Other... The Houston Rockets beat all of PDX last eve...in the great northwest...egads...this is pure blasphemy...the Beard had like 48 points...many on drives to the hoop for LAYUPS!...give me a break...just horrific D and the idea that he gets to the basket without being doubled...or hammered...is beyond comprehension....
