Geez...I hate leading with that...but it's true...if you look at all the news sources...and I'm not just talking on the web net...on the pixels, too...and in the printed pages of YOUR local newspaper...most everything is of UNREST ...whether it be the killers, the Chicago Cop, the condemnation of the Donald's boast, the Swiss surrounding the Paris killers, and on and on... I will go way from that and give you some nice stuff ...to brighten your day...in lieu of the other...kind of like what the CBS show of "Sunday Morning" does...you know, there are good people in this land, too...doing good things...and for the benefit of not only themselves, but us, too...right?... Commercials ...there you go...my fav is the the one about Peter Pan going back to his 1965 class reunion...makes me laugh every time...the one about the parents getting the kids out of bed on Xmas Day...as they jump up and down about their new Benz, I think it is, as the kids are drinking hot ch...

Morning, kids...depending on where you are...either lifts or downs your wake up mood...have to admit...gulp...that the weather around here in the GQ has been downright awesome... if you are in the rain belt, I'm sorry... Fixation ...I'm talking about the thing that need just that...well, where do I start?...the biggest item on all my news sources?...of course, it is the Donald ...and his statement on banning the travel of all Muslims INTO THE USA...and to finish, "until the country has all this mess cleaned up." ...hmmm...and the political world erupted!... Let's be frank here... he pretty much says whatever he wants ...and doesn't get hit at the polls...in fact, he jumps...as people are fed up and follow him...I call it closet Repubs ...he hits a nerve that many believe...obviously...of course, we had a rousing round robin debate of him, at the golf table after yesterday's round...surprisingly, I remained silent on this...and listen... That...

It's a beautiful morning here in the hood... GQ , that is... the temp is back to normal ...and have a couple of days of golf coming up...which may or may not be a good thing... Say it isn't so...the mighty Pats of NE lost their 2nd consecutive game...what?...at home...to of all teams, the embattled Chip's Eagles ...go figure the NFL...the Pats do have a whole gaggle of injuries to their wide outs...and their star TE...but it was their special teams and their D that played so poorly... Eery pix of the San Bernardino killers coming back to the US at O'Hare in Chicago... I know Prez O, you don't want us to typecast people...but ... their appearance strikes fear in all of us...like I said last week, we must, I repeat MUST, restrict who we allow to travel in and out of our country...investigate...better...and we are to believe, that none of the people around them had no knowledge...ie, the mother who lived with them?...give me a break... The Grammy's ... Ta...

Don't know why...but Horse is getting in the Holiday Mood ...figure today would be a great one to get out and peruse the vinyl stores ...find me a sweet Christmas Album or two...which brings me to this... What is your favorite? ...there are some classics that we probably all have...er, had...in most cases when it comes to 33 1/3 discs...recently I have talked about Johnny Mathis...in the upper tier...for sure...gulp, you'll laugh at this...but try Doris Day...Frank Sinatra...Connie Francis...James Taylor... Seems like most country folks put out one of them, too... Alabama had a great one...Sara Evans had a beut...Carrie has had some singles, but I'm unaware of an album... Kelly Clarkson released a CD...superb...and, of course, there is Mariah Carey's ...gold...loved the Phil Spector collage of songs...Dean Martin...Barbra...even, the Beach Boys ...anyway, I'll look for a hidden treasure... How about flicks? ...nostalgia reins supreme... Christmas Vaca...
