CRAZY HORSE

This annual thing...of turning the clocks forward or back...mighty confusing, right lads and lassies?... 'Spring FORWARD, Fall BACK' ...so, all of the clocks you have in your house...have to be adjusted...can't we just settle on one...and call it good?...all but 2 states do that...not ours... OK, we will fall back tonight at 2 am...ah, then 1 am ...whatever...do we lose sunlight, or gain it?...gosh, we can make even the daylight confusing... This started as a byproduct of WWI ...really...copied the Euros in their efforts to save on fuel costs by adding an extra hour of daylight...whatever... so, blame it on the Germans in 1916 ...took until LBJ signed it  into law for the USA...don't blame me...I am just the carrier... What on earth is the NBA doing?...a tourney in the regular season? ...don't really get it yet...do see the odd coloring of the playing floor...whatever...as the PDX Blazers won again...they probably have my blog on the bulletin board...haha... gonna...

The shocking sight of modern war...on the pixels...is terrifying to me ...absolutely terrifying!... the launching of missiles intended for slaughter of humans...rockets...mortar...imagine on being the recipient ... the Middle East is totally combustible ... and Israel will defend itself to...the end ... not only rockets from the Hamas, but now, from Lebanon ...going in and testing the Iron Dome ...or, whatever it is called...that does get most of them, but not all... Most all residents have 'safe rooms'...or, bunkers...you know, just in case...Gaza has endless tunnels...you know, just in case ...why do humans have to live in such a fashion?...knowing, it probably will be needed...the rooms, or bunkers, or tunnels...regardless of what side... I fear for humanity... Don't think that we are all safe here in the USA...how many mass murders have we had in the past 10 years? ...right, too many to count... in almost all 'safe places'...churches, schools, malls, restaurants...

As I peer into my Carnac Crystal Ball ... I see that we are but a week away from our 'annual' trip to the homeland ...for another Oregon Duck football game ...this time a wee bit later and we are anticipating a rather soggy stay there... we cram as much as we can, in the few days that we have...so graciously harbored at the Snookis ...past 3 days and we start to stink, is the rule... wait a minute, we did tell them we were coming, right?... Included this time, is a pow wow with my tribe...ah, the remaining members of them...the 2 bros and sis...and moi ...as we meet for a...well, I am not sure why...but, we are...somebody called for a quorum...I think Bro Jim...usually tell falsehoods about the Horse...ha ha...actually, they are usually true... and then, with our long lost friends from that hood...the Ziebells and Vicki B ....toss in a jaunt to our fav pizza place...and while Snooki and I go to the game, Boss takes off and sees her old, now, very old cronies...ah, friends fro...

Not a lot of patience in Las Vegas ... as the newly based Raiders have ALREADY given not only the head coach, BUT, the GM , too, the AXE ...the heave ho...the pink slips...the get outta here signs... where was the love that the owners showed when they hired them? ... 'we are with ya, win or tie' ...it's the name of the game... hired to be fired ...more often in some places than others...ah, try the Padres for one...the glorious ovation when the head coach signs on the dotted line...gone, all gone... at the end of the trip ...as you must know, it is a trip ...some longer than others...but, it will end...always does... The Rangers are one game away from winning this season's World Series ...just the better team, kids...no shenanigans here...not better coaching...not awful refereeing...ah, umpiring...not anything other than Texas has more talent...and it shows...with the crown... The BSBCS listed their 1st top 25 in D-1 College Football...the rankings ...and the two fro...

Happiest of Halloweens to all of you, out there in the great land of the USA...and for youse outside of the country, here's to you, too...have you already had your 'dressed up shindig?' ...ah, not here...as the Boss and I have been sick....so, we have been sheltered in...well, I have gone out golfing, but does that count?...are you ready for the onslaught of trick or treaters?...I do know Cy and Cas are, up in Montecito...sweets for my sweets, sugar for my honey...I digress... You have a favorite candy bar? ...I heard on XM 73 that the worst one rated was the Peeps ...usually, that is won by the candy corn...which, I do like...just not my favorite...which goes to the infamous Idaho Spud ...closely followed by the Snickers bar... 3 Musketeers , that is a goodun, too...lurve the nougat...many like the peanut butter and chocolate thinger...what's that called?... Peanut Butter Cup? ...something like that...yes, and the Mountain Bar , but that costs another nickel...wait, ...

Almost a decade back, I lead with this ... 'What the World Needs Now' ... by Jackie DeShannon ...can't recall why...had to be some type of killings...but, now we have the Hamas/Israel War...and the apparent attack, worldwide on the Jewish people...to say it has become yet another plight...disgrace to the people of Russia....as they have for over 100 years tried to get rid of the Jews...probably longer, for you history buffs with more knowledge than I...somehow, the battle has transferred over to their soil...is it not enough, that they have to deal with their war...yes, THEIR WAR in Ukraine...?...witness at some colleges, the same thing...here...in the US....protests...and here we go again... Wooah...there was a barrage of smashing going on here...at the Home...like at 3 am ...no idea what it was...sounded like some person taking a 2 by 4, to the building...loud enough to awaken the Horse...I got up and looked down at the streets...it had stopped, and I saw no one running....

Sometimes the homonym has it's glory...what rhymes with Ducky? ...well, there are a boatload of words... depending on if you are a true UO fan, or...not...one who is not is from Pickup U...ah, Utah...as the Duckies made short work of the Utes ...was the Horse surprised?...you betcha...with a home record of like 18 straight wins in Salt Lake City... I feared a very close tussle...but, this day, the Ducks were one of the superior college football teams in the land ...which shall raise the eyebrows of the cats who decide the final 4...cuz, the game was on prime time...for Saturday sports...OK, enough hype... a really really good showing for Oregon ... The other Oregon team, the Beavers ...I had an equal amount of fear for their match down in Tucson...to be candid, I watched just the 1st half...and felt that it was just time for the Beavers to take this one... BUT, the ridiculous finish of the half, just might come back to....speaking of Halloween...haunt them...forgoing a chip shot FG...
