Now that we have the tree up and all the lights aglow...and we are definitely in the festive mood...it's time for some... CHRISTMAS FLICKS! ...what?...geez, I haven't seen any movie in it's entirety in over 6 months...but the classics?...you bet I will... Top of the chart is Christmas Vacation ...with Chevy Chase , and I don't stop laughing...too many things that get me giggling... I lurve the first two Home Alones ...they are great get away ones...MC is so cute in them...and the falls and pranks are way funny... See, I have a different side...and there are the romantic ones ...which I dig, too...OK, you get the drift... It's been over 6 weeks since I have had a rib eye ....that damn cholesterol thinger...and have been dang good... as we age, Simon, we must watch more of what we eat... DelMar is closing up this weekend on it's Bing Crosby Session ...and we are going to closing day tomorrow...by the way, the local fav, California Chrome, is racing o...

Interesting name for the day, don't you think?... BLACK FRIDAY ...in the year's past I have given the reason...not going there...regardless...how are you doing the day after?...we celebrated by going over to Season's 52 ...had a very nice turkey meal...I think this was the 1st one we had no family at all with us...as we met up with Cris last weekend... I'm sort of sorry for the set up I had for my Facebook ...one of my few (?) faults is to post something pretty much in the middle of a topic...or be very indifferent and then watch the arteries go wild...as the racial stuff can be very polarizing...call it what you want...but it's still in existence...too bad, huh... DWTS crowned the right winner...so says me...as Alfonso and Whit were the clear best this season...and so fun to watch dance...the show itself is coming our way...we usually go...at the Balboa Theater...odd place for it... I watched a bit of all 3 NFL games yesterday...geez, I do miss Madden......

To all of you, who follow this blog...a very Happy Thanksgiving... But, is it?... Seems to me that we take for granted what has improved so much... And yet return to chaos as quickly as in the past... The color of our skin should have little barrier on who we are... Or what we believe... It's inward that shows our substance... A man's or woman's opinion should be theirs to share... If they choose... And respect for one another should never fade nor die... But somehow that gets lost in times of crisis... And some begets to old time name calling... I shiver at the racial lines that have emerged in Missouri... Which brings back the worst of times in this country... That I lived through in my youth... Wake up people, and see what you have... It's a whole lot better than many of you are expressing... Talk more about what is said, rather than what the color of the skin... Of the orator... Peace... ...

This is like just out of the 60's...I'm reacting to the decision of the Grand Jury of that tiny little town...in Ferguson, Missouri ...it very well may have been appropriate...surely, there are deep seeded feelings and emotions running about there...and this was the result... My first question mark is...why release the findings in the evening?...what on earth is the thought process?...as soon as it was done, the people who wanted to, rioted...and there were those who eventually got arrested for doing so...well, most were residents of the area...much to the surprise of the pundits...as they kept alluding to outside influences...hmmm... 2nd of all...the sweeping of the streets by the police was uncalled for...the immediate reaction of the decision had to be expected...right?...and to show the force that they did...to me, this is purely wrong... The family of the deceased guy...asked for peaceful demonstrations...BUT...I really believe that the actions of the police force,...
