All I want is peace and quiet in the morning ...and a nice, hot cup of coffee ...to start my day... NO ...not me...as for the last two months we have been scorned with constant noise from the unit above us ...we have complained...tried to call them...talked to management...documented it...and it still continues...so of course...today was the worst ever...starting at around 6 am...pounding, marble type bouncing of something, like a hammer slamming, too... To make matters worse, or more maddening... my new coffee maker stopped working ...so, I am cleaning it out (again)...as the noise is deafening...from above...and yet... NO ... the coffee maker still doesn't work... Are there cameras filming me?...is this an Allen Funt Production? ...or more like a Daffy Duck episode? ...what did I do to warrant this?... serenity now...serenity now.... On the brighter side, and what isn't?... the Blazers got it together in the 2nd half and beat Dwight Howard and the Rockets...a solid ...

The latest gadget is the smartphone on a wrist ...I guess you would call it a "Smart phone watch" ...how's that work?...it sends a shock wave through your arm?...and then you bring your arm up and quietly speak into the watch?...hey, Dick Tracy was way ahead of his time...if you look at all the revues of the product, wait a bit to get one for your mate, or yourself... Apple has yet to release their version... give this a couple of months to get the bugs worked out ...anyone out there have one?... My fantasy football team ...ended up tied for 7th ...but...got eliminated from the playoffs as I was lower in whatever they use for the tiebreaker...just as well, as I have, er had, the worst team in the history of FF ...can now forget about trying to set a lineup... The game of the night was the return of Coach Doc Rivers to Boston...where he was the Celt's coach for 9 years...the base of the team was traded away and the coach departed too...he to LA to manipulate t...

Remember when the face of the Indiana Pacers was none other than Jermaine O'Neal ?...ha ha... he was the bloke who muddled mightily with the PDX Blazers when he signed out of high school...in fact, he is still in the league...17 years?...something like that...go figure...I digress...playing with Golden St...anyway, the Pacers have changed...for the better... And how... guided by the legendary Larry Bird , they have put together a bunch of no names and molded them into a top 4 team in the NBA...and last night they continued their unbeaten streak at home... methodically whupping the hated Heat ...ah, it was fun to watch... there are only two teams of substance in the east ...them two... Out our way, the wild wild west...the most immediate topic is the reemergence of the Lake Show's star, Kobe Bryant ... fresh off of a torn achilles ...of more interest to me, cuz that's what my son is going through...and he ain't bad...got a dunk last night in their loss to the sp...

Or are these things odd, non-changing, confusing, or downright dumb... Tony Romo, the QB of the Boys, has zero production in December...and continues to make bad decisions...and Dallas just seems to stay with him... The JFK Conspiracy just died...poor play on words, I guess...but, it was so huge just a few weeks back...this is what the country wants?... Brandi of the Housewives, could not be more despicable and disgusting...she tries to be like this?...or is she just what she seems she is... The Blazers are creating a solid, team oriented, playoff bound group...and TNT doesn't notice it...yet...c'mon Chuck, get with it... Love the love for Mandela...think a lot of the old South African "conquerers" are turning over...in disgust?...life is supposed to be filled with equality... No, silly, not THAT one!... Clark , I mean your's is awesome... BUT ...the REAL ...one...the one that dominates the bay front... San Diego's own .... Festival of Lights ... We were a pack of Pinncaleites , 10 of us....gathered down at the Fish Market ...on the deck... had a set of wines ...some more than others... ate some bread, butter, cheesy bread, and smoked fishes ...and watched a mahvelous parade of boats ...lit up by Xmas lights ...very, very cool...coupled with a gang of gals, we then sang Xmas songs ...yes...old and young partied hardy...and yes, people not of SD, it is freezing here, too...got down to 47*...it's all relative...fortunately, the biz had outdoor heaters a blazing...ho ho ho... Break up the Bolts! ... ripped a new one to NY...like the Giants ...these Vegas guys know stuff...had the totally unpredictable Chargers winning in a totally unpredictable league...a low blow by one of the Trib's writers....suggesting that every time the Giant'...

It's about time I mentioned that IT'S TIME FOR SOME XMAS FLIX! ...or, your Christmas fix ...as the holiday season bursts upon us...and you need a getaway from reality...so you rent, or pop in your favorite all time flix...and some of them have been reproduced, er sharpened and colored up...and the quality is now quite nice...here is my list, and I'm checking it twice... Home Alone ...don't know how many times I've seen it, but I still laugh...like belly laugh... Christmas Vacation ...the Griswolds are legendary...too many great scenes... White Christmas ...kind a corny, but the people in it make it cool....and somewhat real... Miracle on 34th Street ...this is the colored one...and it is mindless fun... It's A Wonderful Life ...trials and tribulations and puts you back into that era... The Santa Clause ...I may rewatch this...kind of goofy... Jingle All The Way ...the Guv and it is a feel good one...try it... Home Alone 2 ...not as good as the 1st one...
