It has finally arrived...the 5th Annual Masterz Golf Tourney! This event has 84 guys and 32 gals participating in it. The teams are drawn tonight at Prime and the golf itself is a shotgun start at 1 tomorrow...a banquet follows and the prizes are given out. Larry and Debi Morris, Rick Ziebell, and myself are the organizers and it is a fun, fun, fun , time... Be true to your school ...the likes of Adrian Gonzalez and Heath Bell are rumored to be GONE today...this is the final day for trading in MLB and it is all said and done...the Pads have even named Mike Adams as their closer...that's after the team has won 3 in a row ... Let him run wild ... Kevin Towers has gone amok with "his ability" to trade away his marketable players and get youth in return... GET RID OF TOWERS ! Shut down ...please just either name all the 'roids guys from "the list" in 2003 or get rid of it...rather than slowly leak a few names every month... Hawaii... the weather...

The mighty San Diego Padres have won 3 of 4 AT Cincinnati ! And what is going on? Suddenly getting good pitching and timely hitting...credit Kyle Blanks and Matt Latos for the resurgence of the Pads... if you go back a few months you can see that I TOLD YOU SO !!! As the Masterz approaches I have to say well done to the Morris team and Rick Ziebell for their great organization ! Am really looking forward to having my family here ....it's about time... Well, I am still shell shocked by the Padres ...

The mercury is hitting 107* here in the great northwest ! I did not bargain for this...and there is little change on the horizon ... The Pads got a much needed win at Cincy yesterday... Kooz was the hitting hero...the pen mopped up well and well it's 5 and 20 for the month ... We are getting ready for the Masterz with 21 men teams and 8 lady teams ...great turnout and should be another extravaganza! So do you watch Big Brother ? Not a lot of brain power goes on and you definitely veg out in the show...Actually fits me to a tee...Not a fan of the geek Ronnie ... It's so hot I didn't even light up my cigar ... Did you see hoe (oops I mean how) Jillian picked her man of all time last night? OMG ! The one guy she dumped for no. 3 showed back and she then had second thoughts about her pick of the night. So happens that the emcee Chris kind of shames her into sticking with it...So all three of the boys confess to her that they were "in love with her"...eenie, menee, minee...did you see that as a true love? OMG ! For some reason the Padres stick with Geer as he approaches the all time record for gopher balls... the Reds only hit 4 last night... So Sotomayor got approved...that's a real surprise... Beautiful here in the great northwest ...

So you spend a couple of months trying to find true love...on a reality TV show...and now it's down to two lucky guys...and the ones that you have picked have had their problems like other gal friends and intimate problems....LOL! Surely Jillian will pick... It's 103* here in the great northwest and it's not what I bargained for...the Masterz is this weekend and will be a blast! The St. Louis Cards are a much improved team with Lugo and Holliday on their squad... Have you seen the likes of the Padres lately? OMG ! The Pick 6 was hit 4 times on Sunday at Del Mar for a cool $328,000 each ... Sammi where are you?

Ah yes, the smell of fresh brewed coffee ! How is your cup done? Ours is a little machine...the Capresso ...you put the beans in the top...the beans are ground into a filter...the filter snaps over the carafe...the water brews...and Voila!...presto, fresh, hot coffee...Generally I prefer french roast ... Starbucks has the most flavorful... Costco has a good one...not a fan of the mild stuff... The Padres got scorched yesterday by the lowest of lows, the Washington Nationals ....13-1....maybe the Nats are not the lowest... Great time at Del Mar yesterday...probably 'cuz I hit...what a great track! Comic-Con had a lady by the name of Rachel McAdams in attendance...you remember her...in The Notebook ... Just look at the names that are vying for the British Open title... Norman, Watson, Torrance ... Flying back to the Great Northwest for the Masterz ... Fore !
