How are you kids doing?...well, we went to the Padre's game last eve...terrific seats...14 rows from the field...so...here's my take... The good ...first class production at Petco Park...great seats...many people to assist you...vendors everywhere...decent amount of bathrooms...lighting is spectacular...the big screen is yuge...the Padres wore their brown uni's...they scored their 1st and 2nd runs of the season...at home...faithful following that don't boo...got to go to the game with my son...which was the best part if it all.... The bad ...an odious product...of players...and management...for the 9+ years of us going...this is the worst...light hitting dudes...marginal pitching...got beat by a "surprise" stolen base...I could go on...a 38 yr old manager...hmmm...the stage is set...for frustrations... NBA Playoffs ...starts up today...me eyes will be on the PDX/Clip Joint series...SoCal thinks it is a shoo in...no...need some strong coaching from the B...

Morning kids...got to git out and wander the streets of the Gaslamp last eve with the Mackles ...found a new bar, Blush ...kind of good...their specialty?...icy, blended drinks...unique... Geez, the Padres set yet another all time MLB record ...really?...after getting thumped by the Phillies...got struck out 16 times...in ONE game...they were informed of their new prize... the 1st team ever....EVER, to be shut out 5 times in their first 10 games ...and the hits just keep right on a coming...wait...no hits...anyway, my son and I head on over to Petco to see the lack of action...carrying our "boo" towels...masochists...right?... The ladies pro hoops... WNBA ...held their draft last eve...and the first 3 picks were all from UCONN ...another record...that's all I talk about...records records records.... Yes, vinyl...records ... Graham Nash ...you know of the now defunct CSN or CSNY...who have blazingly boasted to never sing together again...bad blood...Neil Sedaka.....

The nite belonged to the NBA ...specifically, the Cali teams...did you catch the action?...it was special...so many peops say that the regular season means nada... last night was the exception ...as the final set of games were played... For moi, it was the question mark of the NEW single season win mark...would the Golden St Warriors get to 73? ...think about that for a while... 73 wins and 9 losses ...lawdy, who does that?...the Alameda fans were ready...showed up many hours early for the chance at the celebration...if the team could do it...they did...led by the awesome performance by the shoo-in MVP , Steph Curry ...who was at his finest... 46 points in 30 minutes of action ...the crowd was delirious...let that set in for a bit...enjoy the accomplishment...then, get after in in the playoffs...let it be resaid... Horse has picked them NOT to win the title, as a repeat ....I do hope I'm wrong... Up in LA, there was another celebration...the final game of Kobe Bryant ... ...

CNN and Anderson Cooper are doing the town hall thinger yet again with the Repub candy men...this time however, they are including the families in a sit down ...last night it was the Kasich fam ...he is a good man and has a great family...it was fun and interesting to see the interaction...5 stars...tonight it is the Trumps , and tomorrow is Lyin' Ted Cruz...ha ha...just kidding...it will be Raffy's turn...darn, kidding again... the Cruz's ... Raffy was in SD last night ...spreading the good word and charming the flip flops off all the SoCal peops that were there...over at the old Convention Center in Mission Valley...he's a beaut...and yup, not my fav...maybe I'll feel different (ly?) when I see him in the family sit down...maybe not...ha ha... Monday decaf, er meltdown ...the sudden collapse of the boy wonder...we forget that he is but 22... Jordan Spieth ...in the Masters...looked like any of us mere mortals in the game...chunk chunk and try to fish the ball out of the water...but this is the biggest T of the PGA Tour...which magnifies everything...of course...someone emerged...someone else...out of the pack...playing well...shot a closing 67...and won...the Masters... Danny Willett. ..a dude from across the pond...I am totally honest here...I never heard of him before... Fuzzy math ...no bigger indicator of this mess than what the Democrats are shoving down our throats...take the state of Wyoming's votes...Sanders wins at 56% to Clinton's 44% ...but...when the delegate tally came out...it was split at 7 each...what?...to makes things worse...add the super delegates in...and Hillary got the 4 of them...and the final tally is 11-7, favoring Clinton ...even though the actual voting had Bernie, substantially... I...

Hey all... the 4th and final round of the Masters will be a beaut...as the tourney leader, faltered badly on the last 2 holes Saturday. ..and brought a whole gaggle of dudes back in contention... Jordan Spieth ...drove it to the right and went bogey/double...and there we have the stage set... Who you got?...think Smylie (really his name) has a shot?...his name is Smylie Kaufman ...I think you have to watch out for Jason Day. ..lurking, with a ton of talent... is it just me, or has Spieth gotten slower ? ...speaking of that...how about the ancient German ...the Sr. tour player and 2 time former Master's Champ, Bernhard Langer. ..a chip in away from garnering his 3rd... talking about slow players...he is the champ... It will be high drama for sure...after my round yesterday, in the social room (bar)... all eyes were on the T ...probably 12 or so pixel sets...oh yea...I had my best of the season ...go figure...an 80...had 3 birds on the back.... life is sweet when you tweet ...
