I need to announce that it is in fact, The Weekend! ...how else would you know?...we were abruptly jarred by an earthquake , circa 6pm last eve...the epicenter was northeast...somewhere...of course, that takes our 4 elevators out of whack, and shut down ...thus, the only down and up ( up and down?) is via the stairs... 5th floor ain't terrible, but the Mackles 32 flights are ...anyhoo, as we awakened this am, the word is out that they are back in service...ah, the elevators... My sketch stuff , er apparatus, has arrived and the Horse completed a couple of beauts ...I will complete the blog with the 2nd one...have in sight a next one...my take of Dean Martin ...the pix I have is in black and white, which will make it somewhat easier to sketch by...so far, my abilities are similar to a 3rd grader...hmmm, maybe younger than that... Number 2 Zoom mtg , came to a sudden end...as now, it taketh cash to continue on this journey... $149 for a year. ..is it worth it?...my vote is yes...

The headlines are pretty much the same, this morning ...the added commentary, is the number of jobless ...another duh...as we are mostly shuttered down...must be that the newsies like to see numbers in print...make very easy lead ins...this is nothing new to you or me...as one of the blokes on PTI (Pardon the Interruption), the talkee show on ESPN... Tony Kornheiser , said 'I watch 20 minutes of the news, and that's all I can take...then I watch something else, anything else...'. ..it's what I do, too...but, I read me 23 sources in the am, and...get damn depressed...takes me a while, to get going after... As much as I despise Trump , the addition of his son in law, Jared Kushner , to his 'team'...and to actually allow the bloke to talk to the American public ...is a slap in the face to us all ...a new low, that only this guy, can pull off...with all the books I have read about this regime, there is not ONE thing good, that has EVER been said about Kush...

Let's figure this out... THE REASON that so many of the replay games that are on the tele right now...is because they were UPSETS!. ..it is 'is' and not 'are', right?... 'they' had the Cleveland Cavs vs the Golden St Warriors, in the champs series of '16...where Kyrie Irving was unstoppable, at least by the Dubs...and the Cavs won...I don't know if it's cuz we are west coasters or not, but, I'd prefer any of the other series...where the Warriors won... 'they' have been playing most of the Duke Blue Devils losses, too...figure that all of the taking down of Tiger is next... 'be the right club today' ...I guess that triggers the viewers... 'they' know ... Interesting tidbit here... the owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft ...had his personal airplane take a gazillion masks to China to combat the virus... why not to LA?. ..this is a head scratcher to me...a good deed...yes, but the USA needs them...too....

What better time than to clean your home? ...exactly, so that's what we did yesterday... vacuumed...then swept the floors, ours mostly are marble...after moving all the furniture...then wet mopped...and then dried 'em ...listen, kids...that is a WORKOUT! ...then, went back and replaced all the furniture...just cuz we can and it was needed... how much do I value the housekeep?...so much right now... How do the dust particles accumulate so, well so fast?...a phenomena I don't get...but they do... One of the things, that I took for granted ...living back in Oregon...in a house...that I could wash and clean my car...right outside in my driveway. ..little things... Marsh hosted another Zoom Mtg yesterday...it was fun and successful... 9 people aboard ... from here all the way to Bend and Salem Oregon...Palm Springs, too. ..it was a hoot and something that all should look into, in these very trying times...I keep tellin' ya, diversions... Hmmm, just remembered t...

Morning, all ...here is the greeting I got out my deck, this am...since has been replaced by fog and clouds, I think...but, it sure was pretty while it lasted. ..which goes along to living in the city...as we awaken to the sounds that it makes... cars, trains, people in the streets talking, the trolly stopping and going, the airplanes , as the airport is 5 minutes away from downtown... San Diego , kids, in case you are a newbie to me blog...however, lately?...not so much...as we are all part of the shut down , of so many things...a necessity?...yes...as we wait this thing out... To be abnormal ...are the rumors that come out...all you have to do is turn on the tele and you can get whatever that is offered...what to believe?... had one come my way, that an antidote is being tested...other, that the social distancing is working... a MIT guy, says that the virus can be airborne for 27 ft...how do you prove that? ...and on and on...thing is, until there is a vaccine for this, we ar...

As we pass the time, during this most chaotic of all times ...at least in our generation...the tele gives us the most dramatic of news... pounding fear upon fear into our brains...and psyche ...loading up on such paranoia, that we look at one another, and almost start to cry ...in utter frustration... there, I got it out. ..and now, to give you as much diversion as I possibly can...hang in there, kids... Sunday Morning , the most positive of all TV shows...CBS...did a segment on jigsaw puzzles ...it was cool to watch and realize that...so many of us are right into that mode...if you haven't ordered a couple, do so...you won't find them in any store... I recommend the 1,000 piece ...it's tough enough, without making you quit, on the larger ones...I'm 75% finished on mine, and it's been a bit... Master Suduko ...comes in the Sunday Trib...is just a monster...that can take you most of the day...however, I have only beat it once...EVER! ...it is that hard...but...

The bucket list thing...to go to the Rose Bowl ...in Pasadena...which I did last season, with the infamous Snooki ...as the Ducks beat the entire state of Wisconsin , in an absolute donnybrook of a game...recall this?...anyhoo, the game was being replayed on the Pac 12 Network yesterday ...taped it...they condense it to an hour long production...and I viewed it last eve...thinking I might see myself in the vid...ha ha...a nail biter...and I must say, that the Badgers outplayed the Ducks , for most of the fray... still, it was fun to see again, and yes, to have been there... Which takes to me to the NFL draft , that is to be...still on...I think in Vegas...ah, what?...nuttin is open!.... April 23 is the date ...it is listed to be held in Paradise, Nevada...my interest, is where the UO QB Herbert is going to be selected. ..my football friends debate me on his pro abilities...I think he is a franchise type of lad...they are not so sure, but not totally doubting it...so depends o...
