OK, I watched it all...and the US and the International Team split 6 matches...brutal wind and greens...do you see you don't have to have 500 yard par 4's to have a tough course...guys like Dustin Johnson, who just kill the ball and have all the advantage...not so much in this venue...Johnny Miller showed up to colorize the matches at the turn...and he is way over the line with Tiger...to be honest, Sir Woods, is working his way back...and JM let loose with a statement that Tiger would have made the 50 foot eagle putt back when...please, it's a certain amount of luck on something that far, so dependent on the wind and all...you don't have to like him, but he is a very special golfer...hey, Lefty and Furyk, are quite the team...good stuff... I don't like it...the offense that the Broncos are using with their spiritual QB, Tim Tebow...I can say that, right?  It has to be the most boring set used in the history of pro football...now, I didn't say it wasn't ef...

Good morning kids...it's a meek and weak weekend coming up...well, in the sports world...did you catch any of the President's Cup in Australia...geez, it's on sooo late...some very good matches, highlighting the vets David Toms and Lefty (not on the same team)...and wooah, the team of Tiger and Stricker...bad...but the US is leading after the 1st day...the course looks to be so tough...fast, fast greens...hey, if the pros putt like that, imagine us hacks out there... The line on the Ducks/Trojans game has dropped to 13 1/2...a much closer game is anticipated...my esteemed colleague from up north is bragging about the signing of a RB comparable to LaMichael...wow, if true...and there has been mild interest in what the Beavs are up to...I just can't imagine the school keeping Riley on much longer...SDSU hosts BSU...without the Aztec's top two RB's...ouch...figure the line is way off...turn away, it'll be hideous... Well, hey, the hoop scene has begun...oops, just not the NBA type...and that very well could be the entire pro season...but, the collegiate stuff has kicked off...and here's my rant...why are the bigs playing the littles?  Of course, it's to pad their record....and the littles get some money to prostitute themselves for the sake of the bigs...OK, a little harsh maybe...but, you catch my drift...I have been looking at all the lopsided wins and really, don't know a bunch of the schools listed in their obits...boo... It's team time again in golf...the President's Cup...the US against the others, just not Europe...in Australia...starts Wednesday and I lurve it...some eye brows raised when Tiger was selected to the team, as he sure didn't earn his way on it...and...there is a lot of hope he gets to play against the Aussie Scott, who just has as his caddie, Tiger's old henchman, Stevie...mild drama, yet fun for us hacks, nonetheless... Have you been following ...

And if you go back just a few blogs of mine, you'll run into the possibility of a rematch of the LSU/Oregon teams...not without merit or chance...of course, there has to be some major losses by the Cowpokes and maybe the Crimson Tide...shoot, this wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the corrupt leaders of the BSBCS people...and have a playoff like every other NCAA sport that exists...every other...OK, it's the Duckees climbing into 4th in the latest poll...one last word on being at Palo Alto...well, words...fantastic time and most memorable...with the Crosses and Cris and Leila...it was like going to a Blazer's game back in the late 70's... Let's talk predictions...I don't see Oklahoma St. losing...so they are in...heh hey, my sleeper pick from the beginning of the year...and I don't see LSU doing so either...so there you go...but I also, don't see the Ducks losing either...but they won't get in the one and only game to decide the champ....

Ok, lets be real...the Ducks are...for real...in an absolutely electrifying atmosphere...they played as the beast of the west...is that good enough for the east coast pundits? Probably not....I figure the BSBCS guys will put the Duckees at 4 or 5...and drop Stanford to 8 or 9....and even with the mysterious Boise St. Losing to TCU...they will have LSU, Oklahoma St.,Oklahoma, and Alabama ahead of Oregon...boo... The Duck fans were awesome...outside of losing our car afterwards...it was a fun time meeting up with the Crosses...such great people...and I don't think we could high fived and fist pumped Duckee fans in our area any more than we did...by the way, our seats were 7 rows up from the field...very nice... And, the cute little town of Palo Alto...sure appeared to be neat, very neat...of course, you feel much different after going in and getting the big V... Heading back down to Diego...
