To say that the Vacay was far out, is a truth...we had a fab time and now it's back to work ...oops, we don't work...we are back home...better...from 90's to 60's...bah humbug...they call it June gloom in these parts...May gray, too...and this year, the bitter truth...only Alaska had more cloudy gray skies than us...in all of May, in the great US of A...Diego be darkish...not rain, mind you...just clouds... This desert land of Cali, in this time of the year...is pretty damn special ...hot during the day, and coolish at nite...of course, it does turn very hot all the time...soon....but, not right now...and there were gobs of people enjoying just like us...rad...oh yea, we did go to a few 2nd hand stores...got some vinyls to add to me collection...one awesome one...a 4 disc set of all of Nat King Cole...as I have told you before...when you play the vinyls, everything slows down...we need more of that... Did no time watch and sports while on Vacay...did read about 'em ...

We are grateful for the Morrises and their generosity for us staying there…we have since moved to our oasis in Palm Springs…this is the time of year for the warmth in the desert…not too hot… The Concert…Shania can belt it out…as many do, she sang some new ones, too…which I don’t care for…but she looks great and love the ‘oldies’!… Here in PS, our concierge recommended a bar…the Tonga Hut…above the street…perfect for people watching…you would NEVER find it, unless told…secret door…as we enjoyed the street fair…now from 7-11… The Friars did escape DeSantis’s Florida (DF), with the series win…back home now to face da Cubbies…and the Nuggets won game 1 vs the Heat…a sweep?… Did you see Prez B fall at the Air Force Academy?…listen kids, I think we need younger leadership…on both sides of the docket…shoot, I could f...

Tried liked I can...beat the curse of the NBA Playoffs...of 150-0 ...where the team that goes up 3 nil, wins the series...the Heat did it again...and now, the record moves on... yup, 151-0! ...as they handled the Celtics easily in game 7...the Horse predicted it's demise...but, like all other prognosticators. it is just words...some make a living doing that...not me...so...on they (Miami) go to the finals to play the Denver Nuggets...who do I have?...why, the Nuggets, of course...just saw the pix...is that a State Farm placard? ...boooooo. How many times have we gone thru a Debt Ceiling Crisis? ...way too often, kids...and yup, we are back at it...again...the faces change, the politicians...but, the process is the same...with the massive amounts of money we take in, and then, give out...it always seems we are in the red...too often, 'we' lend (?) military weapons to our 'allies'...good lord, we have many, many items we need to alter, to keep our 'leadership' in the world...OK, I am being way generic...specifics?...you, too, can read the garble that is being said...by the participants...thing is, the Speaker and the Prez have a tentative agreement...now, the Speaker has to go back and convince his cronies...there you go...like I said earlier, makes no diff who is running this country, this item ALWAYS pops up... How about the finish of the Celtics/Heat game ...a tip in at the buzzer, and the unlikely is happening...a team down 3 nil, has a chance to break the streak of 150 straight wins for the lea...
