Here are my pix for the games... SDS over New Mexico...even though a very negative article in the Trib... Ariz over Washington...even though the Wildcat QB is out... Navy over ND...even though the Irish has a better coach... Oklahoma over Mizzou...even though I want the Sooners to lose... Auburn over LSU...even though I have missed every Tiger game... Utah over CSU...even though, well no... Ohio St. over Purdue...even though they drop from 1 to 11! Stanford over WSU...even though I need a win... Hawaii over Utah St...even though it's in Utah... Western Oregon over whomever....even though Bartlett coaches 'em... Shark attack on the Cali beach....boogie boarder...   NY not in the World Series... Texas in...do you care? The Bolts are favored over NE...what? It's still raining here... The LPGA is struggling financially... Just wait for the NBA to slash their payrolls...money is tight, my friends... Do you watch Bill Maher ?  One of my favs... ...

I kind of look like a big time gambler here... The Ducks are for real...a 60-13 mauling of the Bruins ...as the hated coach Neuheisel had a bewildered look most of the game... Oregon is so fast...and the amount of time between plays is extremely innovative...the thing of the future...25 point spread and covered... NE comes into town and is a 2 1/2 point dog to...the Bolts ?  A miserable looking team, just how can SD be favored?  As I have said all along, Vincent Jackson will play for the Chargers ...after he becomes eligible...in another month...by then, there should be another sheriff in town... Have you ever watched the vast wasteland of an ESPN show partially starring Colin Cowherd ?  He was a sports reporter in Portland a short while back...now he's a big shot (so he thinks) and voiced an opinion that in the bigs of baseball, that he wouldn't watch a Giants/Rangers world series...get real...he has to know where he came from...he made a name for himself in a sm...

Prime time ...and a whopping 25 point fav ...doesn't that seem like a bunch?  Up from 21 1/2...somebody knows something or whatever does that mean?  The Ducks host the Bruins in a considered mis-match...when is the last time you could say that about this game?  I wear my "O" all over the place, and hear "Go Ducks"...very, very, interesting... San Diego St ...as I have been telling you...they are a team in transition...great coaching staff...and many people are looking to snatch head coach Hoke away from SD...give him time, my friends...they have a super running back ...a true frosh...check it out... The Lakers play one pre-season game here in SD...tonight...over at the Clipper's old home, the Sports Arena (now some other name)...and Kobe is not playing...as one of the anchors said this am, "why go?"...did you see the SI NBA prediction?  Has your Blazers picked 2nd in their conference...I don't see it...way below average PG, and the hurtin...

Well, somebody has to do it...by the way, the blonde hair leaves with in 3 hours... So the hot topic around here is the RAIN...go figure, fly back into a pouring storm... And the other...the bumbling Bolts...not enough fingers to point at all the trouble spots...it should all go to one guy...the head coach, Norv Turner...in come the Patriots to feast on the Chargers...I can just hear the booing now... The link out of Padre land is that Adrian Gonzalez is getting surgery on his shoulder...no talk about any trades... Ducks on the tube Thursday night against the Bruins at Autzen...21 1/2 point favs...ridiculous...never ever worth that many...take the points...only the Cougs get that many... And off to do errands...

Kind of looks like me...you know...it's our last full day here...it is truly a paradise ...84* everyday...I know I keep repeating this...but it's so true...we are planning a yearly trip back here...it's that good... snorkeling and boogieng this day... Back on the mainland...kudos to the mighty Ducks ...get a bye and move up to number one in the nation!  The former top guy, Ohio St ., got bumped by Wisconsin....cool stuff... The Beavers ...heart stopping loss at Washington...went for two in the 2nd OT...I'm ok with the call...but not after a time out...the D has enough time to adjust... they just seem better than their record ... SDS huge win over Air Force...I keep telling you that they are in transition... Yesterday in the NFL ...the Cowboys lost to the ancient Vikings...a change coming soon there?  Speaking of a change needed so badly...the Bolts lose to the Rams...probably the worst team in the league...well, maybe the Chargers are...
