Hope that all went well with your family...gatherings that is...and your Christmas was memorable...ours was , albeit that Leila is a bit on the sick side...no bueno...other than that, it was fun...went over to Imperial Beach and Coronado Isl for a jaunt....the weather is a tad bit cool...but sunny...stopped by our fav watering hole, Barleymash...for a quick lunch and beverage...BTW, it was slammed!...and then popped on home and made individual type pizzas...flat breads...design your own...if you haven't done this, I highly recommend...only takes 8 minutes to cook...it's all in the prep...so good...and then... ticked off the women folk, as we finished the nite watching some bad hoops... In lieu of naming my top 10 best and worst things about 2015, I am going to follow Barbara Wah Wah's lead, and name my top 10 fundamentally, face de-breaking, anti-lip puffing, stories of the year ...this comes out in the next week...make sure you check back to get that enormously creati...

I hope you get to be with your family for the Christmas time this year... cherish these moments, as they go fast ...much faster than you think...when you are young... I'd give anything to go back into time...and be with our family that has since departed ...you KNOW what I mean...like I said yesterday... SLOW DOWN and enjoy the here and now... We have been having a bit of trouble with the blu-ray player. ..got a pix and no sound...been texting our sound system guy...and out of the blue, we get a knock on the door ...and he popped in to fix the thinger...done!...off he went...just like Santa...but...dang..it still didn't work...I sent him a text...within minutes...literally...he returned...this time it was the settings on the blu-ray player...and yes, my good friendly readers, it is running perfectly ...happened yesterday late eve on the 23rd...another FESTIVUS miracle! ... I know I talk about this maybe too much...but if you don't have the NBA Package , you are settl...

Morning kids ...how be you ?... it's still cold here...and windy...and yesterday filled with gobs of rain...well, for SD ...had my rain coat on...and a stocking cap...and on and on...how am I doing?...better...I'd say my calf is 90%...was supposed to golf, but am putting it off for another week...Cris and Leila will be arriving and I can't be a hobbling... I get melancholy during this time of year...who doesn't?...and the sounds of the season is what I have my XM on...Holly , I think it is...you've heard of Marshmallow World , right?...a number of peops have recorded it...I think Darlene Love's version is the best , er most popular... Dean Martin did a very nice one, too... I will put any one of the Johnny Mathis Xmas discs on...and just marvel at his mastery of the song...he is truly incredible...think similarly of Michael Buble ...the list goes on...if you don't play vinyl, play the CD stuff... take some time out of watching the pixels ...and just...

If you watch the CNN Series of the Sixties and the Seventies ...BTW, they are absolutely awesome!... you would find that all candy men and candy women pretty much say the same things ...every single campaign...even way back then... Kind of starts with, "I promise" ...and then it gets lost in rhetoric ...and then...we finally get a bloke who is out of the good old boy and girl political field...and lordy, he will say almost anything...and we get a bit unearthed... does he mean what he says?... Is this the path of the new politics?...people that are not made out of the same cookie cutter?...it's not that Trump hasn't wanted the job...he started his feelers back in '88...part of the Ross Perot Reform Party...which fell flat on it's bloody ears...and realized to get it...he had to be part of the mainstream...had to be a Repub or Demo... And here we go... the Repubs are shaking in their tree...they want a Prez...but at what cost?... their inner values would...

Hey kids, it's the week of weeks ...right?...when I was a teaching/coaching it was some time off...and time for the fam...and doing what the normal people did...get out and shop...and make sure the gifts were just right...did not have time prior...I'd give the team a week off, too...it was time to be with the ones you love... Stress ...mostly self imposed, it  was my take down...don't get me wrong here... I loved what I did...I stressed as much in the class room as the basketball floor...really...you always had to be right...so I came in highly prepared...hey all teachers do this...it just was taking a toll on me...that's all...my outlet was the sports...and get this, TV sitcoms...well, and an occasional Jim Beam... "Hootchie Mama" ...yup, I was a Seinfeld nut...BTW, I had no idea what that phrase was or meant...is was just funny...now, I know...ha ha...it was said a couple of times...Frank C used it...and I swear Kramer did, too...anyway...Cosmo was my s...

Did you watch the 3 headed Demos Debate last nite?...New Hampshire...well now...it was tame in comparison to the multi-faceted one that the Repubs have...right?...in fact, the similarities that the donkey brigade let loose on, were just that...really, I found it kind of boring... I do feel that both of the best, Bernie and Hilz , seemed presidential...by that I mean, they carried themselves well...and had an air about them, that seemed above the normal politician...I know...that is way general...and lacks facts...and we are all about..."just the facts, mam..." If you look at the web net, you will get confused as to the "winner" ... the youth want the elder statesman ... the pundits and DNC folk want Hilz ...in less than a couple of months, we will see who gets the people who count...those who actually vote...one side light...the only Repub mentioned was the Donald...hmmm...draw from that what you want... OK... Remember this? ...been awhile since you have h...
