Man, it is hard to not LOOK BACK! ... the history that we all have inhabiting this world...where we came from, what we have accomplished, where we have lived, who we have done it with ....and yet, the best is yet to come? ...really think that is what you must have on your mind...it will still get better... might you turn to religion, your mate, your family, your situation...just find a way to make things...seem so brighter... So many sports thangs going on at the same time ...my fav is the college football...with them Ducks hosting FresnO St...over at Petco, the mighty Padres are on their last legs vs ...

As I scatter through the endless things on and in Facebook...I usually stop at what somebody is fixing' for dinner. ..how to cook something...yea, in a different way, maybe....than I might do...or how it is prepared in other countries...basically, mindless moments that I can't get back...but, dang it all, I get hooked easily...different ways to pop and flavor popcorn...weird...48 omelets at a time...ah, what?...one of my favs, is the dude who cooks meat on an outside wood stove...I do have a nominee for the worst of all, tho... a bloke cooking a steak meal in a TOASTER! ...not a toaster oven, kids... a 2 or 4 slice vertical toaster ...when finished, he quickly hides the blood underneath the machine... not to this cooking sleuth...I saw it all ...do not try this... 'C'mon blue, open your eyes' ...no other sport on every single play, there is a judgment on it... beisbol ... a strike, ball, a foul, an out, a safe call, a HR acknowledgement, you get warned, you get tossed, you get checked for illegal stuff on you, or on your glove or bat or cap or belt. ..and after all that, there is the eye in the sky that can be used to see if blue was right...er, the ump was...I probably left something out, but it is covered...they totally dominate the game...it's like having 4 parents watching your every move... Tonight we saunter on over to the new Rady Outside Venue ... to see the 'master' of the legendary Beach Boys. .. Brian Wilson ... sans Mike Love ...who is the other guy...who has his own version of the ever popular band...which we have seen at least 10-15 times...really...a few years back, the remaining guys got together and did a 50 year reunion tour...but now, they are back to where they have been for some time... SPLITSVILLE ...not exactly sure what we are to see, but the fact that he is still with us...to entertain, is enough for moi... Equally disappointing, is the make up of the once very together CSN, and or, CSNY ... There is a saying, used way too often...when interviewed...that usually triggers me brain... 'To be honest with you...' ... ah, what you are saying, is that you weren't before? ...sure, quite often it is a filler... The Gulf of Mexico ...this body of water that is so destined to produce mountains of flooding and hurricanes...settled between the US and Mexico...just churns out these disturbances more and more...often ...add to the natural thing of where it is, this global warming phenomena...that the World could have prevented...but did not... We have to deal with the here and now...as the latest storm, Ida, the 9th this season ...will hit Louisiana today...the weather people say it will be a Category 4 ...5 is the worst...may hit the low areas of the state...like New Orleans, which is actually below sea level...and then travel north...have you ever been in the path of these?...I have not, but have been in the horrific southeastern thunder and lightning ones...awesome, in so many ways...awesome bad... All the while, the west would do anything for some rain ...that fire up in NorCal is approaching Lake Tahoe...absolutely devastating... Started a new to us mini-series ....that lasts 6 seasons...so...
