CRAZY HORSE

The Derby ...ah yes...and the Bob Baffert trained horses are the favored ...figure that one of them will probably get 'er done...probably...BUT...there is a whole gaggle of them hosses in the mix...and that causes a lot of shuffling about...especially early on...my long shot scratched...and so ....I think either Dortmund or American Pharaoh ...if you want or need to... bet at TVG...or go to an off track....or if you are lucky enough, get out to Churchill Downs proper... The Pads did a number on the Rockies last eve...in front of us... 14-3 ...we had to leave a bit early, as I had a 1/2 pound dog ...egads...I have been paying for it the entire night...bad bad tummy...whew...the proper 2B Solarte had 4 rbi...let's put this spot to rest, right Buddy?...great seats right behind home plate ...and no wind... it was perfect, except the dog ... The Match Play T in SF (PGA) ...as usual, many of the top blokes got the axe...and one did not... Rory. ..so there is some interest......

Sometimes...I get it...sometimes I don't... the Atlanta judicial system ...where the oft hated standardized  tests were altered by some educators...and tried to improve their district's scores...and thus stay in "good light"...of course, we are talking a minority area...and the judge...threw the book at them...but... 7 years in prison?...in PRISON! ...what?...he relented a bit later...said he thought that his judgment was too severe...reduced it to THREE YEARS!...and he was videoed as being belligerent ...and he is NOT a minority...sometimes I can see the people revolting...there must be other methods of penalty, I would think... Why is there so much racial tension going on now?...is it only with the way we are policed?...it appears...I am saying appears...that there is a revisiting to the 60's ...where the minorities are not going to take it...first riots...then calmer heads prevail...and now peaceful demonstrations...the walks of united folk...that are alwa...

You have your pick for the Kentucky Derby? ...the equivalence to the Masters for the PGA blokes...it's the race to win...and put your horse into infamy...like it's the 141st running of it...WOW!...so cool...depends on who you talk to...what hoss won what lead up race...East Coast, West Coast, over seas...it's the guess and gamble for this type of thing...and it intrigues me so much...I have Dortmund...but think that American Pharaoh will probably emerge...if I do wager, it will be on those two...and a long shot on the jockey Calvin Borel...at long odds...I know nothing... Swept...and for all the hype and hullabaloo... the Pads are wallowing in sub-par performances...the trademark of the previous 8 seasons here, has been the bullpen...right now, this group is big time struggling...and our hitting?...not connecting like predicted...yet...if you listen to Mgr Buddy, it will come...of course, he's fighting to keep his job...he has to stay upbeat...what I am worried abo...

As much as I hate the idea of a loss... the Pads gave up a multitude of runs in the latter part of the game...as the bullpen faltered again ...if you have to lose, the main culprit can surely be a former teammate of my son's... Jed Lowrie ...who hit a tater and a double to lead the newly moved American League Astros... Lowrie played on Cris's same high school team ...then went on to play at Stanford...and then to a number of pro teams...have to admit, I didn't know he was going to be so successful...but he is...and am proud of the kid...and wish him continued production... just tame it down on the local team...ah hem... PDX salvaged game 4 versus the Grizzlies...good for them...and it was hectic...find themselves at 3-1, with the end of the season looming...and the fate of their PF Aldridge in the same boat ...as he will be able to test the $ waters...not holding out a lot of hope for the franchise... Well, I had my lowest round ever yesterday...one of the special ...

Well now...with the best team that money can buy...for SD ...we still have trouble with the team that spends even more than you do...way more... the bloody Bums ...and we still have trouble with our game management ...you see...to beat the best we have to be the best at making decisions...which we are not...have seen it for 9 years...and would hope that there is a change in the approach to the game... OK, I'm decently evasive about specifics ...but, you know what I'm getting at...lost the 2nd one... AT HOME ...to them...and try to avoid the sweep this afternoon...anyway, it's a long season...BUT... we have lost 4 in a row...
