Morning Kids... Have to believe that the college games go as predicted today...don't see any upsets...and give the Ducks their week off, they will be hell to pay on the Bears...the line has risen to 37...most over Cal that I can ever remember... SDSU favored over NM ST by 17...what?...can the Aztecs score 17?...a shut out?...what am I missing here?... Georgia over LSU...naw...the Tigers are too good.... UDub over Arizona by 9 1/2...hmm...am not sure this is right...will be a high scoring game...unless the weather is turrible...the over/under is only 62...?... Alabama over Ol Miss by 14 1/2 at home...seems about right... ASU over USC by 4 in the desert...hope so...bye bye Lane... Oklahoma over ND at South Bend...really?...doubt it...Stoops always loses big games... Oregon St over Colorado in Corvallis by 11...sure bet...but...the Beavs are frustrating... Stanford by 9 1/2 over WSU in Seattle...double header in the Emerald City?...really?...let's see what Leac...

Well, it is great to be back home...5 hour flight...first class, kids...we are soooo worthy...the meal...even though when it got to us, the filets were already taken...and we were stuck with the pork..."you know I am Jewish!" didn't work on the stewardess...it was good...great, smooth flight...and we were at our place at 11:00 pm...pictured here is the last night's sunset at Kanaapali...just so you know what we saw most every night...if you haven't been there, you must... So we are doing the put away thinger....washing the clothes...getting back adjusted...dealing with Sammi...sifting through the mail...so nice to have the condo just cleaned...all very good stuff... Obamacare...you know what that is?...I mean c'mon...it is in the works, I guess...I consider myself a moderately intelligent guy...and I have no clue...and some Congress blokes are trying to block some or all of it...can't the networks go over it and let us know what is really going on...w...

OK, kids, this is the last full day for this year in PARADISE...this is a pix from the Lanai Ferry...Lahaina... Met up with fellow Pinnacle owner, Ronnie Allen, at Whaler's Village last eve...go figure...at Lailani's...very cool...going to take him to this cool breakfast place this am in Napili today...if the line isn't too long...you know, last day stuff...got to clean out the refer and all...hate to pack all the stuff back up... Actually had an off type day yesterday...bouts of the wet stuff...however, it was still 85*...and we swam...and then went down to the beach and watched the surf and all...all, was at least 4 turtles bobbing and weaving all about...also, did a road trip up north...gandered at the spot where the Pro Tour has a stop...Kapalua Plantation Course...extremely awesome Maui views...and then stopped at a "locals" lunch spot...had a great teriyaki chicken mixed plate...I would have those daily... I see the Pads lost in OT to the DBacks...Gr...

As we approach the final couple of days of our trip here...time to reflect on the vacay...first of all, there is no better place on earth...we met a couple from Canada...Toronto...here for 3 weeks...wow...I asked why not Florida?...they replied that there is no better place on earth than here..."have been coming to this area forever"...2nd...the weather...80 +...all the time...and with a breeze...in fact, it has been in the 90's most of our stay....easily the hottest since we've been coming here...since Cris was a teen...3rd...the food...I'm not kidding about this, there is no better out there....the fish is unbelievable...4th...the warmth of the ocean waters...almost as nicely temped as Cocoa Beach... The down side?...the cost of the food at the grocery...the meals, are normally priced at the restaurants...not at Safeway and the lot...the cost of golf...the unknown creatures lurking in the ocean... We ventured into Lahaina...to walk the streets and do some sh...

Good morning, kids...it's been a great trip....Cris and Leila gave us quite an anniverasry gift...a trip to Lanai for golf...beautiful... Started with a 45 minute ferry ride to this smallish island...which was a nice, smooth ride...on the upper deck....and we were greeted by a shuttle to take us to the golf course...The Challenge...there are two courses on the island...one further up...each are in connection with two of the hotels...4 Seasons...they told us that the upper GC is 10 degrees cooler... Met a super guy who set up the entire round for us...with such energy, that was infectious...told us it was a busy day...as there were 40 people on the course today...what?...like a private one...and off we went... Just one hole after another...gorgeous water views...started on the back...the 12th hole had significance...you were hitting your tee shot completely over the ocean...fortunately, it was early and NO wind...but...the big deal was that was where Bill Gates got married...e...
