All good things must come to an end…Vegas…must say I could not handle this type of heat too long…the pool is a must…plus a thousand of my closest friends…BTW, the Bismarkians found us in the water, and promptly came over to talk…nice peops, but as usual, I will never understand forevers… Luck had turned south on moi, until I hit the horses…saved the day…the problem?…on the big screen was the Bums…there are noisy, boisterous Dodger fans all over LV…booo… If I were to rate Mon Ami Gabi, and I am, it was a D…cold bread, wilty lettuce, and forgettable chicken…BL’s french onion soup was lukewarm…the service was the only good thang…our last time there… Then…a walk to the Bellagio…to see the flowers…ah, no…they are in construction…no flowers…wasted effort in the heat…my gawd, the heat!… The hit of the day was Carrie…Underwood…and Resorts World… a year young and fresh everywhere…we ate at a new joint, Brezza… at the bar…no res…unique Italian food… Then the show…how she can deliver with such pa...

What else would you do in 100* temp, other than plopping yourselves in the cool pool?…along with thousands of your newly adopted friends…the Mirage one is humongous, and can handle the numbers… Of course the standing in line to get in is a drag…finding a pair of lounge chairs is even worse…but we did, sandwiched between couples from Texas and North Dakota…their stories were downright dinghy… The Texans were from Austin…transplanted from Chicago about 7 years past…and said that Austin and the San Antonio areas, er cities, wait, towns…have grown so, that the traffic can’t handle it…45 days of over 100*, made me think they didn’t like their move… Now the Bismarkians…oh my…she was a smoking…yup in the 100* heat…they wanted to talk…took me 1 minute to get that they were forevers…she wore a flag swim suit, I kid you not…he hated San Diego…brought back memories of boot camp…they were not vaccinated for Covid, as ‘most of North Dakota wasn’t’…did some checking, and 66% were…my guess is that mo...

The trip via the air is 45 minutes…the people watching is fun…getting to Vegas, baby…I’ll tell you our take… There are so many folks flying, like everywhere…the Southwest Air terminal is slammed…15% masked…most of the workers are…we don’t even look at the price tag of the lunch…it is what it is… The flight being so fast, still served a drink…now that is hustling…sat in front of some very happy peops…not obnoxious types, just happy to be alive ones… The taxi ride to the Mirage… a flat fee of $29…which is cool…and our driver, as he said “I ran from Iran”…took a short cut and we were there in 5 minutes… no lie… Listen to this, the Horse did a Lindsey upgrade…and we are on the ‘Staywell’ floor…all water is filtered, as is the air…we must get our water filtered back at the home… I lucked out and am 3 bills ahead…Let it Ride was good to me…we had din din at a Japanese Restaurant…and the nite was done… Today?…breakfast…pool…100*…shopping…Bellagio flowers…relaxing…what are YOU doing?
