The rise and fall of the...Padres...again...deja vu ...regardless of who is at the helm...in recent times, there is but one thing in common...the GM...not the manager, not the coaches, not even the players...the GM...not that there hasn't been some good moves...but, the essence of the game of baseball is pitching...stock your draft picks with young hurlers...then, trade for pitchers, as teams are declaring 'fire sales'...starters, relievers, and closers...right now...in the eyes of many, the better season of the San Diego Padres franchise...we have the worst pitching staff of any contenders in the league...perhaps, in all of beisbol...the credit for that goes directly to... the GM...AJ Preller ...pretty obvious what the change should be...not the manager, not the coaches, but the inventory 'guru' of the team...time for a new direction, kids...pay close attention to the owners...it is imperative... In reference to the blog post yesterday, there was a banter coming from the defendants...that there wasn't a whip used in the corralling of the Haitians in Texas...OK, I am not sure by the pix...but, it may not be a bull whip...but, the people were getting HIT by a whippy type of device that would sting if tagged...I guess, the motto is 'whatever it takes'...sort of what is going on in Afghanistan, where people are getting 'whipped' by the Taliban in the streets...do the forevers deny this, too?...right, that would be the Demos fault, for pulling our forces out of the country...regardless of what the weapon is, it is wrong...to hear that is 'all bull _shit' is completely wrong...we are so far apart, it is disgusting... Let's just start with the forevers in DC ...fizzled out and man, I saw nothing on it...the impact just may be gone, kids...donny, are you watching?...your time is up, dude...find a building to erect...bye bye... The 2nd game of the Padres in Saint Looey ...had it in hand, at 2-0...and of course, we have no relief pitching and blew this one...even worse, and telling, was the shouting match between our two best players...Manny and Jr...which officially marks the end of this season...time for the pink slips...AJ and Tingler the top of the list...bye bye...
