You'd figure it would happen more often on the east coast....much warmer water...and it takes just that to create the major storms...did you see the video of the dock in Florida , where the wave injured 8 incredibly stupid peops?  NYC has had such a bizarre set of weather patterns lately...and, of course, because all the major networks are based there...we witness 'em...now...the storm...I have a feeling it's going to bypass all the major land masses... I have put off talking about this... the game of the year ...and it's the 1st one...against the LSU bunch...in Texas Stadium...a lot of folks around here say that LSU will have the crowd dominance...not so fast Californians... the Ducks travel well...or, so say the bowl peops...the talk... I can't make this up...there is this feller...who just happens to be a rich one...that has this little problem...one of his most fundamental parts of his little toy is broken...well, it's getting fixed...but he has to use the toy, anyway... NOW ...so he has to find a temporary replacement part...that no one else has...so he secretly ends up in this little town in Mississippi , where this little part is known to exist... Hattiesburg ...and the part is definitely used, NOT NEW ...in fact, advertised as an antique...so...this feller doesn't want anyone to know that he is there...oops, he tweets he's there...blown cover!  This feller is none other than Baltimore Colt's owner, James Irsay ...celebrated NFL boss...trying to find a gap quarterback for his recently worked on QB, Peyton Manning ....so what's he doing is trying to get the legendary Brett Favre to to be this missing part...yup, it's true... Nothing like a lazy Sunday drive in the country... BUT ...now the cost of gas and all...it becomes more of a monetary problem...so...it goes in the brain that it may just be time to get rid of your gas hog and slide into a Hybrid ...there have been some out there that have bragging rights...most notably Toyota , with their Prius and their Camry... Honda has their version, as does Lexus , and Ford ....and there are others... BUT ...there is another one that is turning all heads...40 mpg, with 700 miles per tank...and, I think will put Korea on the map of a major car maker... the Kia Optima ...has all the bells and whistles, ie. Navigation, multi speakers, oh, you know...the works...I noticed one out at the golf course and it has the wow factor...and the price, fully loaded is $33 grand...and right now, there are super lease programs...I'm just saying....
