CRAZY HORSE

In these times of the pandemic...we have searched for diversions ...things that bring us UP , not down ... we gander at sporting events...music from the tele...seek out the flicks that are out there, too...rekindle our hidden art of cooking...and, perhaps, drinking ...ah, is that an art?...well....then, this thing pops up that brings us right DOWN again...one that I have been fearing for a while... an intrusion into Iran ...you KNOW trump wants to...has even asked his 'cabinet' about it... now, I am NOT saying that the US had anything to do with it ...it is just a scare point... Iran's nuclear mastermind , Mohsen Fakhrizadeh , was assassinated yesterday , I believe...fingers are being pointed everywhere as to whom did it... of course, the USA is one of those, that are targets ... as is, Israel ...in fact, their Supreme Leader is calling for REVENGE! ...we need to stay close to this story...it shall expand... All the while, trump keeps spending our money on his frivol...

Maybe that should read, the non-Civil War , game...ah, to be politically correct, the Oregon and Oregon State football game is now just called the Rivalry Game? ...well, I don't really know what it's called... it's just not the Civil War anymore ...OK, whatever...it has been and still is, the best football game in the state...you can usually throw out the records of the two...in this case, the bizarre Covid 19 infection...there are few games that they have played... what is evident, is that both teams have struggled on D...they both can score ...it is being played in Corvallis...alas, no fans (I think)...the line has been wavering at 13 to 14 favoring UO ...ah?... the over/under is at 64 ...so, Vegas says a lot of scoring to be had... the Horse says take the Beavs and the points ...this from a Duck fan... How was your Thanksgiving? ...must say that it was certainly full of action for us.... cooking, putting up the tree, eating, cleaning, getting a vid call from the kid...

To all of you, out there in Horse land ...I wish you the best Thanksgiving you can come up with... it may be not what you are used to .. .if you are one of those that has been affected, infected, or subjected to the Covid 19, I wish you better times ahead ...in hopes that the vaccines arrive sooner than later...and we ALL get them... 90% (+) efficiency is an incredible stat, so I am told by the medical community...let's go back a bit... Regardless of the origin, way way back ...it is now understood to be a gathering moment in the lives of FAMILY! ...there have been great films and TV shows that go with this notion...some funny, some not so...you must see 'The Family Stone' for a wonderful nostalgia flick... it will take your mind BACK to your own times...I guarantee it... I can recall all our parents meeting up for the extravaganza that we hosted...well, we did often... they are all gone now...sad...such is life ...our memories, they are still here...forever ...and ...

Covid news out of Europe ...actually, the United Kingdom, ah Great Britain ...that they are going to go with a vaccine very very soon ...information is kinda sketchy at this point...as to what company they are going to use...there are 3 that have been in the forefront... that country even said that perhaps normalcy could be had by mid '21 ...it's a terrific sign, for the rest of the world to see...and hear about...we, the USA, must be getting close, right?... The 3, Pfizer, Moderna, and Astrazeneca , all have their uniqueness.. .how to distribute...at what temperature to store the vaccine...how many shots are needed...the reliability. ..supposedly, Russia and China have theirs too...that are out of the grasp of any one else...let's just say, that the earth is closer to combatting this horrific virus than ever before... So, kids... time is an issue ...as badly as you want to see the family...be cautious...and hold off another set of days...until we are in the hands of the ...

To think it took an additional TWO WEEKS to announce that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the election is an embarrassment to the country...albeit, it was due to trump and his horrific attempt to sabotage what you and I do... VOTE ...for whomever we want... his countless acts of deceit and deception ...from altering the US mail service...to thwarting the count of mail in votes, many due to the Covid 19...that he not only doesn't address the Nation about, or even go to the meetings of 'his' cabinet...who does that?...I digress...to sending envoys of 'forevers' to try to intimidate voters in line...the 30 some lawsuits , citing fraud in the election,  that were thrown out, by courts all over the 'battleground' states...to, finally, his request of some Michigan people of power, to badger them into not certifying that states election results... ALL FAILED! ...and now...he is through...from a number of the Republican Party encouraging him to do so... he has...

BREAKING NEWS...the Transition is now in process...Michigan ratifies the Biden/Harris win...trump has authorized the transition to begin....to borrow the Stones 'It's All Over Now!!! Unprecedented ... how many times have you read or heard this? ...as trump is exhausting as much time and our money in his last gasp of living in the White House ...more and more Republicans are calling for him to concede and do the right thing...begin The Transition ...alas, he barks, tries to bite, and then heads on out to the golf course ...most everyday...woah, what a treasure...as the Covid spreads unchecked...the leadership of the country, spraying golf balls all over his course... yes, unprecedented ...we have never had such a debacle in the top elected official's office...it's almost like he is daring, to have someone (or group) physically come in and remove him...on a pole... Another company has come up with a Covid vaccine ... AstraZeneca ...some reports have it as high as 90% ...

Just imagine this ...you are at a restaurant ... WAIT! ...we are talking in the past...ah, use your imagination ...and ya'll decided to have someone else fix you the Thanksgiving Meal ...so, out you trot to a f ine eating establishment ...fully knowing that the family idear is kaput... can't group nor travel ...so, it's just your immediate fam that go out... And All The Fixin's ...that is the advertisement...when you arrive, the seating is 'outside only' ...illegal to sit inside the eatery...the mandate from the Guv...no more than 10 at the table, too...well, we have two...it's 52*, yet sunny... OK, then, we leave our coats on ...even the propane heaters aren't enough... coffee , rather than wine...and please, one plate only, we want to eat and get out ...no offense, but this sucks...not your fault...and right 'Hold The Gravy' ... we don't want to wait ... Is this far fetched? ...nope...so down here in SoCal, we are doing the other... fixin...
