So the departure of Duke and Ohio St. scrambled up the tourney in a big way...as Kansas emerges as the public's last fav to win it...all others are the cool long shots...so here we go.... I had Kentucky over the Buckeyes ...mostly 'cuz I thought very little of the Big 10...fun, exciting game... VCU (who?) outlasting Florida St ...and there is but one, count 'em, ONE , big east left after 11...pooh to the tourney committee... Kansas in a rout over Richmond ...soooo boring and the pickers lurved it... UNC mashing Marquette ...40-15 at half, OMG ...go back to my beginning of the preview of the Big Dance ...weird, high, lines on the Tar Heels ...very curious...and here they are...who knew what? hmmm... todays... Florida ever Butler. ..the line is 3...won't be that close...I says it here... UConn over Arizona ...too much of Kemba...the refs turn a deaf ear to his shenanigans...another 3 point line...closer than the spread and it'll be Walker on a contro...

And the analysts asked Sir Charles , "So who wins the UConn / Duke game?"...at halftime of the Arizona / Duke game...and he responded by saying, "it'll be next year on  the aircraft carrier, 'cuz  Arizona is going to win tonight's game..."  Do not dispute his prognostication... My take on the SDS / UConn game...if you are a ref in these games, do everything you can to NOT call techs...the Aztecs got nailed with 2 of 'em...deflating 2 rallies... odd, curious, scandalous. ..especially the 2nd one, as Walker walked right in the elated rush of SDS at the time out and flopped...and if you are going to call a T on Leonard for the F bomb, then every time Kemba went towards his huddle he let a barrage of F bombs, tech him up... BYU and Florida ...for all the hype of Jimmer ...he is the worst defender of all time for a "star"...his counterpart that he supposedly was shading had a career game, 'cuz he wasn't guarded... ole ... ...

I have to comment on one of the courses we played... the PGA West , Palmer Course...yup, that one...we got a member guest rate of $115....ouch, yet it was fun...very challenging, yet wide landing areas for most of the drives...picturesque through out...the back nine is where the TV does a bunch of their shots...very short par 3's out of the rocks and all...so diff from the rest of the layout...not real crazy about the finishing holes...but figure, they just ran out of land and did what they could... Idol ... OMG! ...fantastic night last night...there are 5 of these that could win...Lauren, Jacob, Scotty, and James all were off the charts and could have won any of the previous years since Carrie...but Pia .. .wow...the best of the best ...JLO and Randy want to see her move and try to bee bop...OK, that'll be next week...I'm not crazy about Motown covers, but the Idol singers did just great...I was hoping Scotty would have done "Lovin Feelin"... BeBopaLuLa... H...

So we took off for a brief vacation over to the desert...played a couple of rounds of golf and stayed with our Orygun friends, the Crosses and Gahrs...had a blast and now we are back to reality...the grind of work, work, work...well, Marsh is... So what's been going on? The jockeying of the pundits about why the Big East was unworthy...yet, they were spouting off how great the league was but a mere 2 weeks ago...and I shut my mouth about the Big Ten...am very proud of the Mountain West...looks like Ohio St. is the early fav... Libya...first France, then us and Britain...Ghadafi must go... Idol tonight...I am duh on what's happening...what are they singing? DWTS...the worst set of "stars" ever...EVER! Gotta catch up on my business...
