Now, the FBI says he was glanced by a bullet , I wish they would make up their minds...in any case, he is one lucky bloke...can't imagine the degree of contact, but it had to be a tenth of a millimeter...you gun toters know what I mean... Every 4 years...the world gets together...and the countries put forth their best athletes to compete....it is a grandiose deal ... THE OLYMPICS! ...this time in Paris, France...quite often the USA is a favorite to win the most medals...Russia, too...seems like there is something of interest for everyone...the water sports, the track and field, the hoops, the soccer, gymnastics, the golf...man, the list just goes on and on...and for the 1st time ever, there are as many women athletes as men...many people just like the opening ceremonies... Alas, with the chaos that predominates the earth now...there are already glitches...the rail system has been harpooned ...so, movement is at a standstill...the word out is that there are mucho hotel rooms still available...and flights not filled...is it $, or the fear of traveling there...?...or, both?...well, we shall watch whatever we can...NBC and Peacock...what a name, right?...4:30?...something like that... It's that time of year, kids... Comic-Con comes to San Diego ...it's a BOOM for the city...an estimated 300,000 people flock to it....some to just prance around in costumes...we usually find a nice spot at a watering hole...and watch the festivities...I can't recall ever reading a comic book...really...hmmm, we did see Dick Tracy while in Canada...many moons ago...that's back when Madonna had her real face... The city has many buildings wrapped in these huge poster type of things ...it's supposed to be a fine to do it...however, obviously no one ever gets tapped...as more and more go up...I think it's cool...last year we tried to ride our bikes thru the crowds...what a gigantic mistake...it's like maneuvering thru a downtown New York, er, Manhattan, street... Hmmm, the Friars are stepping up...lambasted the Nat's, 12-3 ....as the Washington team ended up throwing non-pitchers...which I always, and I mean always, think is a joke...trot some dude out ther...

The race is on , and here comes pride in the backstretch...Heartaches goin' to the inside... Yes, the Demos have already endorsed... Kamala Harris , as the running rep...the candidate . ..she has the votes...man, that was quick...they were ready...now, the unveiling of the VP pick...I think it is the guy from Arizona, or the guy from Pennsylvania...we shall see...whoever it is, the race is on... The Repubs have set their sights on her...and will try everything in their Roger Stone repertoire, to find skeletons ...unfortunately, it won't be educationally...as she has much more knowledge than Bozo...they have to find ways to hide that...I have this feeling that trump won't debate her...really... Regardless of the few things I just mentioned...there is a gaggle of time before us...and prior to the election in November...so much to unfurl...and we, the people, will just watch the circus... As the Horse has been saying for about a month now...the inevitable happened...properly, after the conclusion of the trump show...and for the next few weeks, the Democrats will be discussing who is going to be the nominee...probably the VP Kamala Harris...yet to be determined...it just occurred, kids... The Demo Convention is a month away...and the euphoria shall switch from the Repubs, then....always has, always will...I think...the next real decision to be made...is who will fill up the party ticket...listen, there are many qualified people...frankly, I am really excited about this all... So much in limbo right now, let's just see how this all unfolds.... The Open...tickled to see the steady play of the San Diegan, Xander Schauffle...as he came out of the pack and won....with another solid 65...for his 2nd Major of this season...off he goes to the Olympics...as he was the Gold Medal Winner last time...quite the resume, don't you think?...
