A question that keeps reverberating in me head...might it be TOO SOON to be campaigning for 2020? ...the cost is a factor, I suppose...depending how deep the Demos want to go...and, without a clear front runner, the monies may be held back...until one or two emerge...right?... Joe Biden could be the choice, if he decides to get into it...you know my desire, convince Michele Obama ...guess we are just in the exploratory phase...but, lawdy, there are a lot of people stepping up and saying that they want the job... Morning, kids... the Horse is back in the saddle ...now THAT sounds a bit weird, huh...yes, but I have some thoughts to throw out at ya this am...glad to be back writing, but do miss that desert heat, I must admit...could get used to that... Watched the 'playoff atmosphere' game of the Blazers and the Thunder (formerly the Seattle Supersonics)...as Okla City, er, where the Sonics were moved to... beat PDX in OT ...some candid observations... 1.  At times, the game resembled Pro Rasslin' , with flops and cheap shots a part of the matchup 2.  The Thunder play better D than the Blazers...much better... 3.  OKC has 2 legit stars in Russel Westbrook and Paul George ...and the TNT analyst, former UCLA star Reggie Miller, let the viewing audience know that over and over and over... 4.  PDX has ONE, in Dame...Lillard ...the others faded in the stretch... 5.  The technical foul. ..given out often and quite proudly in the NBA...I ask anyone this...does the l...

Just a quick excursion over to the desert...good lord, we had to have some 80* heat on our bods... pool time, golf, meet up with very old Oregonians ...ah, wait, Oregonian friends...some bubbly and just a super time, hosted by them Gahrs ...a lot of thangs, in a couple of days...pictured is the course we played at Terra Lago, ah, North ... as hard a track as I will play ...I think it was a '6' in Bellock golf ...lost 6 balls...just a humiliating golf layout...but, the weather was fantastic and it was good on our skin...I think it is... For no particular reason at all, the Horse woke up feeling like protesting something...put on me hippie glasses and I am IN THE MOOD! ...dang if I don't get like that, er this, every once in a while...and this is the while...makes me want to get a VW camper van ...and set out on a journey around the US of A...ah, fuggit about the money, live off the land...oops, well, not hardly...however, don't want to go to the south, right now...really bad weather...and if I go to the north, there is the damn rain... the desert it is!...party on, Garth... I doubt if you spent the two, count 'em 2!, hours of speech (?) watching what Trump bellowed out at the CPAC Convention ...his base...the right of right group that thinks he can do no wrong...nope, neither did I...but, I did see many of the low lights of it... adorned with sweat coming off of his face ...as he got himself all lathered up ...as he belittled as many 'enemies' of his regime that he could think of, off his reddened (ah, orange) head...dipping back into time to bring up Hillary ...oh my, but the lowest of lows ...was his brow beating oracle of the impending doom of the Mueller Repor t ...calling it 'bull shit...bull shit!' ...yes, this is the President of the United States in action, kids...
