So after 3 tequila poppers and a couple of rounds of margaritas at our favorite watering hole, Las Hadas , we listened to the owner tell us that Manny was there earlier in the night feasting on his pre- Padre meal of a steak...point is Manny Ramirez , even in his steroid ban shame, is a celebrity wherever he goes . In fact, the game tonight, is the 1st sell out of the year for the struggling SD team... The Padres have resorted to mighty embarrassing performances of late and seem to be fodder for the Dodgers as they hit town...surviving a swarm of bees, but not the Astros , the Pads continue their inept ways... Kooz gets back in the lineup just in time to strike out 3 times and the one time he hits it, does so in to a double play . .. RELEASE HIM. ..this is a good game to avoid... There is interest back in the PGA tour as Tiger is hosting and playing in the event in DC... AKim leads at 8 under, as Tiger lurks at 2 back... Is North Korea serious? Are they trying to soli...

Forgive me for what I have to say...but the Padres played just one inning as if they were a bad high school team last night...an ole ground ball by the young SS , an ole ground ball by the 1B , a hesitation by the young 3B , a one hop throw by the 3B , a non- scoop by the 1B , a jog for the overthrow by the 1B , and then a one hop throw by the 1B to the catcher to complete the nightmare...and the only error was charged to the 3B ...c'mon, the 1B just mailed in his effort and was not tagged... Don't look now but the Padres have hired the recently fired manager of the DBacks as a minor league consultant ...let's see, the new owner is a former DBack owner...and KT says don't read anything into it... Bud , look over your shoulder... it is coming ... Have you followed any of the MLB 's handling of the latest steroids fiasco? A universal constant is the Starbuck's Bold French Roast....you can get it at Costco as well as at the Starbuck's store itself...or at Safeway ...or most any store...is there a bean out there better? Certainly not Folger's or that type...but there are different coffee shops around that boast their's is the best...including Peat's and on and on... You then move on to mid-morning and take on the flavored stuff like the mocha or white mocha or the latte or...back in Orygun I really like the Dutch Bros . brand that has taken over that piece of the earth... great staff that greet you with a smile and remember your name...and give you your coffee with a great price to boot... The Padres rallied to upend the Astros last night with 4 consecutive hits ...none by Kooz who may be the worst hitter with men on base in the history of the game ...
