Disgusting

Not sure if I have ever been as embarrassed to watch OUR President as I was today...well, I have NEVER!...in his press conference...his bullying pulpit...that went over the line of decency...as he called out 3 different press agents...as they were simply questioning the man...have you seen it?...in his method of intimidation of people...his boisterous call of 'being able to fire everybody'...as the people...the press...the Nation...watch in bewilderment...

Imagine...if YOU worked for a boss that pulled these shenanigans...in some circles, THEY would be removed...however, if they OWNED the business, they probably could get away with it...until, the employees had had enough...and got out of there...just trying to relate what we see in the White House to the real world...sadly, this IS our US of A, now...

To go one step further, take a look at Netflix's 'House of Cards'...the fictional President doesn't just quell the non-believers, but does away with them...like has them killed...so much for the 'you're fired' crap of this guy, in H of C, they indeed, eliminate them...scary thoughts, huh...

So, Trump does what he thinks he needs to do...'You're Fired', goes out to his Attorney General, Jeff Sessions...paranoia is rampant...you see, Sessions recused himself from the 'Russian Collusion' probe by Robert Mueller...which ticked off DJT...he wanted him to squash any such inquiry...BOOM!...so he hires a bloke that will do what he wants....and now, if Mueller comes in with a damning report...the acting AG can choose to do NOTHING with it...ah yes, this must be more of the 'fake news'...

Bizarre ramblings from a guy who wanted to boast of his influence on the Senate races...alas, he couldn't just stop there...he had to mention those who chose to not ask for HIS help in their campaigns...said sarcastic remarks, named the candidates, and made mockery of their loss...more awkward moments by Trump...

Where do we go from here?...I don't know if there is a battle line drawn between the 2 parties...anymore...both sides must be disgusted with what they see...or, are on their way to a collaboration of all Congressionals...to deal with the very sad ordeal that is confronting us ALL, each and every day...seemingly...

Too often, there are those in power, who just turn their collective heads...as they witness what we witness...please, step up to the plate...

Yesterday was a terrific hit day for my blog...423!...easily the most I have had EVER!...I thank all of you for reading me...and hope that this is a return trip for ya'll today...

Breaking...a horrific shooting...12 DEAD ( now, at least 13 is the number)...including the killer...yet another day of assaults with the gun...as the White House says, 'our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the...'...this time, it happened in SoCal, in Thousand Oaks...when will the people in power make the move?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
