Watching the Friars via the TV...I heard this awesome sound coming from the back deck...er, side deck...wait, the cooking deck...whatever...it was FIREWORKS on the Bayfront!...what, why, wassup with that?...no idear...but, it did make for a very festive evening....yes, here in SD...

Fireworks, too, from the bats of the Padres...as they exploded to a very convincing 6-1 win over the Homeless A's...who are exiting outta Oakland...first to Sacramento, then, to Vegas...anyhoo, Jr continues his hot hitting streak...now at 16 straight games...had a dinger and he is on a roll...game 2 of the series, tonight at 6:40, over at Petco...

Listened to a tidbit about 'tipping' at restaurants...something from TOAST...that the state that tips the most...well, the customers do...is...Delaware!...wow, I am not sure if that really is a state...back to Google...the very worst?...California!...yea, we are number 1!...I tip 20%, flat rate...

OK, I seldom watch flicks...but, the war ones, for sure...when Boss is gone...so, I did see '1917'...about a Brit soldier...was really intense....and I found it riveting...and it was based on a true story...4 stars...

The norm shall be reinstated today...as Boss returns from Montecito...yup, this solo biz is not good...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
