Much to my surprise, once I got home from the links...just happened to turn on my Tee Vee, and voila!...the US Open was on Natty, NBC...the course, appears to be dried out...some ugly sand coming off of fairway shots...and the greens themselves...are brutal...I know the USGA wants fast greens, but these are extraordinary...the telecast pretty much followed the plight of Tiger Woods...and his failed attempt at making the cut...fans just want to see Tiger...NBC knows that...

The leaders, are the guys who have been in the elite this whole season...minus, Scottie Scheffler...who barely made the cut...would not be surprised that the eventual winner, might be the only player UNDER PAR!...

As expected, the 4th game of the NBA finals...was a waste...well, for the viewers and the Celtics...who mailed this one in...the Mavs won by 38...ho hum, boring...but not for the Dallas faithful in attendance...will say, that Dallas was super motivated and earned it...even saw Luka guard a guy...although, on replay, it showed him taking 5 steps, before hitting a shot...no lie...no call...well, Scott Foster was on the game...enough said...

trump turned 78 yesterday, really?...he looks older...like 82...well he is 6'3"and weighs 218...so he says...

CC's name is on the web net, as often as KK's...the diff?...she actually does something...other than alter her body....

Many thanks to C Weeks, for his info on the upgrade to Netflix...where the sound and vision improves...had no idea this was an option...and believe me, it is sensational!...today, we are going to watch an oldie but goodie...'Out of Africa'...

One of the songs that always gets me kinda singing with it...'Blinded By The Light'...wake up like a _____...Manfred Mann...did not know it was actually written by Bruce Springsteen...whose band also recorded it...but not as well...according to the Horse...

So, yesterday, on the links...we were in a horrific overcrowded, slow round of golf...following a 3 some...and on the back, the couple bolted...citing' mind games' and that left the single by himself...smashed between two groups...I approached him on the next hole and asked if he wanted to join us for the final 4...'no thank you'...as we watched him flail, swing 3 times in practice, and stand over 3 foot putts for a six...guess it was better than if he was doing that with us...Dude would have gone off on him...

Chas Barkley says he is hanging up his mike after next season...interesting...guess he wants some going away gifts from all his places he talks from...too bad, I enjoy his banter...

The F word was used 257 times in the flick, 'Pulp Fiction'...reckon it is used twice that amount on the golf course, by most foursomes...

At what point in one's life...that are prone to do this...alter their face, to stay youngish?...and yet, end up cloning the same person?...'Housewives of Beverly Hills' all look the exact same as one another...

Same time, same place...tomorrow...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
