Oil

Man, does it seem that most of the issues of the land has to do with oil?...could be, that's why we are so involved in the Middle East?...or closer to home...how about the Keystone Pipeline?...where the senate has just failed to get the vote to pass the bill to allow the Canadian oil to come into this country...by a single vote...

So what are we talking about?...some say it is dirty oil...or some say that it passes through some environmental zones that may be affected...definitely through South Dakota...where my people are upset about it...and it has become a party line issue...some say that Prez O may have had to either sign  it into law or veto it...and yet, he has been ambivalent to it's passage...

How do you feel about it?...it certainly has merit...and it has it's druthers...I am firmly in the middle...

Not so, when it comes to the Football Committee....as they leapfrogged Oregon with Alabama...as the number one team in the nation...I figured the bye had some effect on the lack of votes for the Ducks...hey, I'm not so sure that the Tide isn't the best...especially with the latest rash of injuries to key UO players...Colorado is in Eugene for the latest test...it's all good...win out and then let's get it on...

SDSU (hoops) beat the Utes of Utah at the Mesa...and it was a stage of defense and a severe lack of O...this may be the achilles of the squad...not so good of shooters...but oh my, they play great D...by the way, I watched a bit of Pac 12 hoops last night...and the Beavers were playing Corban...what?...a tiny school in Salem....that's after they got beat by my old tiny school, Western Oregon...are they trying to save money?...wow...what a heck of a pre-season schedule...

Kobe and the Lake Show won their 2nd game of the season...their interior D is just plain awful...and rely on the long range bombers, and Kobe's one on one, to try to win...good luck...it'll be a long NBA for sure...

The stage is set for some retributions by Israel...and the Palestinians will be back at war...this will be brutal...and I don't see it ending any time soon...too bad...bad part of people...

We have our interviews for the streamlining of getting through the lines at the airport today...and we have to travel all the way to some place east of Chula Vista...can't see why they can't have a place for this at Lindbergh...

More and more lights are going up around us...it is getting festive...we are waiting until after TGiving...that's the way it's going to be...

Can't we all just get along?
