Or lack thereof...as there are more and more mass killings of people for, get this, religious reasons...what?...of all possibles...and this gets me more than anything I write about...why?...is there such a blind fervor that this can be an interpretation of a God?...how is this?...today, and isn't it everyday?...the murders at a Synagogue in Israel, by some Palestinians...no justification...none whatsoever...religious fervor...

And the pending riots of St Louis...with the grand jury findings...to be released...calmer heads must prevail...

Sports and me...what I do...

NBA...as I have been saying for some time now...the 2 teams that get way too much attention and just aren't the boss...the Cavs and the Clips...there is a major flaw in Cleveland...they are not vertical...and, with Lebron losing so much weight...and the overblown hype of their very average PG Irving...well, it's going to implode...and...the Clips have the pizzazz, but not the technique needed to get just one play done right...and will fold against the teams that have a good half court game...it's true. kids...

Can you imagine anyone getting over $300 million for playing baseball?...the Stanton kid out of Fla...eegads, does that ever work?...I have said forever, no more than 5 years for any contract...is the way to go...bizarre...in a game where you fail at least 70% of the time...think about it...

Doesn't happen too often in gals hoops...but perennial champ, Connecticut, got beat by Stanford...well, that team is one of the elite that could do it...and did it...albeit in OT...still...er, do we call it Lady Hoops?...

As we await the FB T rankings, there is some reservations about the Ducks sneaking into 1st...we'll see...
