To my esteem colleague in the great state of Orygun...please temper your responses to the latest and not the last issue of this campaign...hey, the GOP hasn't yet endorsed Mitt...and the rest of that party has already decided the platform that their candidate will use...there are many unanswered Q's out there on OCare...and you have to figure every phase will be highly debated in Congress...so, cool your jets...you'll have ample time to vent...

The Padres brought up their ace in the hole at catcher...part of a deal that we gave up Matt Latos to Cincy...who just happens to have settled in and become the dominant pitcher that we all thought he could be...as we dropped our highly unproductive catcher, Nick Hundley, to AAA Tucson...and this guy, Yasmani Grandal....yup, that's his moniker....Yasmani...hit 2 home runs...one from each side of the plate...welcome to the bigs!...and bye bye, Nick...oh yea, the Pads won 8-4...guess what?...SD is the underdog for the 6th straight week today...

Due to the violent thunder storms that rocked the DC area, the PGA banned the fans from the course yesterday...exception was the immediate family...so there were like five people on each tee...except for Tiger who had 25...clap, clap, clap...and Tiger has a great chance of winning....

I know I should be watching the Olympic Trials...but just can't get into it...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
