Confused?



I'm just confused by:

Why the Padres would trade a solid CF in Jodi Gerut for a AAA minor leaguer Tony Gwynn (has a famous daddy) and then stick him in CF ahead of the oh so hot Scott Hairston and then watch him botch two routine fly balls to give away the game to the Rockies...

Why the Padres would keep plugging Kevin Kouzmanoff out at 3B as he continues his horrible stint as a Major League hitter, which he is not...

Why the Cavs would abandon their agressive defense on Superman and allow him to run free through their defense as the Magic move on to the finals to face the Lakers...

Why the LPGA doesn't hire a better ad agency to get their players back into the spotlight...before it's too late...

Why the North Koreans would be testing their missiles while they can't even afford to light their own streets...

Why 100 million votes were cast by American Idol enthusiasts and we can't get any part of that for our presidential vote...

Why all the reality TV shows ended in the same week...

Why all the PGA golfers wear their Oakleys on the back of their head and not on their eyes...

Why the German winemakers can make a wine that is head ache free and we can't...

Why all the skinny people drink regular Coke, and all of us others drink Diet Coke...

Why the Jonas Bros. are popular...

Why it would cost $179 a ticket to sit on the floor for a Fleetwood Mac concert in these money starved times...

Why gasoline prices are going up as there is a glut of oil and people are driving less...

Why anyone would carve up their face forever...

Why the Sopranos has taken so long to get their sequel out...

Why the Supreme Court takes such a fancy to denying gays their rights...

Why the lawmakers keep upping the tax on the cigarette smokers...do they want them to quit or do they just want more money from them...

Why lobbyists are allowed to manage our country...what Congress person doesn't have a bundle of lobbyists helping their election campaign...and then expect favors...

I am confused...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
