The Wurst

I was going to do my annual "worst of the year" piece...then I thought to myselves...why not do the "most help needed" piece in lieu of...call it the wurst...
Of course leading the list must be the Padres...from just one game out of the playoffs, to a complete dismantling of what that team was...and with no credence to it's season tix holders...blind faith is what they were calling it...put together a mish mash of rag tag players that the management calls a major league team...well, they need help....
Your Portland Blazers...when there was a lot of movement in the trading field in the off season, the PDX upper echelon stood firm...and what was that draft all about?  You fire the GM the day before it and then have him do the drafting anyway?  What?  It smells a wurst smell of all smells...
WikiLeaks...how oh how, can the smartest and most powerful nation in the world allow a young buck of 21 to have such high access to the most secretive information that this country possesses...CIA or whatever you are, you need help...
The kiddie corps managers...Lindsay Lohen, Miley Cyrus, et all, for heck sakes...what you do in your private lives is just that...so, get yourself managers that can handle it...so, there is a fine line of keeping yourself in the limelight and keeping yourself IN THE LIMELIGHT...but, the drug stuff is a wrong and deadly path...you need help...
The republican party...you are letting a splinter group drive you...the Tea Party, with it's hidden backers and leaders...doesn't it concern you that you have people that you don't know...leading you?  And forget the fact that it's your gurl Sarah...it'll never happen...you need help...
Playing golf for money...hit a bad shot...and then immediately hit a practice shot...in front of others who are hitting their only shot...I know, this is trivial in comparison...but, you know who you are...you need help...
Forbidding the marriage of gays...OMG, the country is stuck in a middle 1900's style of life...and the reality of people who are trying to live their lives...for you who oppose the rights of ALL peoples...you need help...
Baseball umpires...forget the garbage about preserving the game...accept the blown calls that have checkered the past...garbage....you have the technology now, so use it...for those of you who  stubbornly reject it...you need help...
BSBCS...an every day, every year thing...until it gets fixed...the money driven fiasco of division one football...that has engulfed the elitist collegiate presidents...just what do they do?  I digress...to supplant the ancient bowl system with a playoff system...to those of them who monetarily gain from where you are...you need help...
And I humbly take a rest...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
