Boogie Down

Kind of looks like me...you know...it's our last full day here...it is truly a paradise...84* everyday...I know I keep repeating this...but it's so true...we are planning a yearly trip back here...it's that good...snorkeling and boogieng this day...
Back on the mainland...kudos to the mighty Ducks...get a bye and move up to number one in the nation!  The former top guy, Ohio St., got bumped by Wisconsin....cool stuff...
The Beavers...heart stopping loss at Washington...went for two in the 2nd OT...I'm ok with the call...but not after a time out...the D has enough time to adjust...they just seem better than their record...
SDS huge win over Air Force...I keep telling you that they are in transition...
Yesterday in the NFL...the Cowboys lost to the ancient Vikings...a change coming soon there?  Speaking of a change needed so badly...the Bolts lose to the Rams...probably the worst team in the league...well, maybe the Chargers are...Coach Turner needs to go...it's like the dilemma that baseball goes through...too hard to move all the players, so the manager gets the boot...BAM!
Had the mixed plate last eve...so good...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
