D-1 Hoops

Hooray for the Aztecs of SDS!  The upset of the highly ranked New Mexico squad puts them in the title game of the Mountain West tourney...and more importantly, roses in the eyes of the Bid Dance pickers...that's coming off a so so performance over CSU...and they play UNLV, who bagged BYU, which I loved...
I have watched a bunch of college hoops in the last week...and everyone, I mean everyone...runs the same offense...pick and roll or pick and pop...drive and kick...shoot the three...or drive and repeat...if you have a big man, you don't post him...you use him as the continuous screener...and nobody fast breaks...BORING...and there is no team out there that is a dominant force...
What is up with the DUIx?  With all their law problems it has become Florida west...and the suspension of their QB Massoli for the year...oops, but he keeps his scholarship...well, that puts Chip Kelly on the hot seat...they must have had some fun practices and fellowship...
The Blazers will not fold as they beat Sac again, this time at Sac...
The Pads are 2-7 and finally the Trib is saying ..what's up?  Hang in there, it's Cactus league...you work on your delivery, pitch a couple of innings, work on your stroke, play 3 innings in the field, catch some rays, develop friendship...and not care if you win or lose...leave that up to the home town newspaper...
Watched Survivor on delay last night...little Russell may be what he says he is...the best player ever...
Speaking of strokes...it's off to the driving range today...got to get ready for the desert...
