Straight to Hawaii...yup the beautiful island of Maui beckons us...OK, enough of that this am...
What is getting to me today?  The ludicrous play calling of the Chargers...as they got whupped by the Raiders at Oakland...it's going to be a crazy year in the NFL...check out the plight of the Cowboys...but the Bolts...they are the worst prepared club of them all...and their special teams look well...there is not enough negative adjectives and adverbs to describe them...2 consecutive blocked punts to start the game...OMG...you should hear the banter about this around this city...
I can't believe this...I'm actually pulling for the Giants...baseball now...and the ridiculous tomahawk gestures by the Atlanta fans...geez...and the Redskins at Washington...aren't we passed this now?  Why aren't the Jets the Jews?  Or, the Detroit Lions the Blacks?  Or, the 49ers the Yellows?  You get my drift...
Just read the Trib...got to admit...Coach Norv is not saying the right stuff...in my mind, admit you are making mistakes and say you are going to fix 'em...he's doing just the opposite...basically saying that the coaches are doing the right stuff and the players are making the mistakes...NEVER EVER, throw your players under the bus!  Get rid of him NOW....Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this...
On a totally different topic and much more serious....this past week here in SD...a man goes to an elementary school and opens fire on kids...yup, grade school kids...shooting...just so happens there were 3 workers doing their thing on the grounds...they heard the pop, pop, pop...saw that there was this guy firing away...and REACTED!...one of them got into his pickup and chased the guy and rammed into him, as the other two subdued him and wrestled the gun from him....held him captive until the police got there in just minutes...NOW, THIS IS A STORY ABOUT HEROES!  These guys are the ones that should be making the national headlines...Carlos Partida, Steven Kane, Mario Contreras...these are real heroes...
Not the garbage that is being talked about...like Favre's texts or Wood's stuff...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter...
