Forgive me for what I have to say...but the Padres played just one inning as if they were a bad high school team last night...an ole ground ball by the young SS, an ole ground ball by the 1B, a hesitation by the young 3B, a one hop throw by the 3B, a non- scoop by the 1B, a jog for the overthrow by the 1B, and then a one hop throw by the 1B to the catcher to complete the nightmare...and the only error was charged to the 3B...c'mon, the 1B just mailed in his effort and was not tagged...Don't look now but the Padres have hired the recently fired manager of the DBacks as a minor league consultant...let's see, the new owner is a former DBack owner...and KT says don't read anything into it...Bud, look over your shoulder...it is coming...
Have you followed any of the MLB's handling of the latest steroids fiasco? One, Manny Ramirez, has been put on the outs for 50 games and is returning this Friday right here in SD...sold out crowd...the amazing thing is that MLB has allowed ManRam to play in the minor leagues for 10 days or so...what a joke!
