Coffee Fix

So do you have the need for a coffee fix? Back when I was much younger I couldn't understand the buzz...I sure can now! A universal constant is the Starbuck's Bold French Roast....you can get it at Costco as well as at the Starbuck's store itself...or at Safeway...or most any store...is there a bean out there better? Certainly not Folger's or that type...but there are different coffee shops around that boast their's is the best...including Peat's and on and on...
You then move on to mid-morning and take on the flavored stuff like the mocha or white mocha or the latte or...back in Orygun I really like the Dutch Bros. brand that has taken over that piece of the earth...great staff that greet you with a smile and remember your name...and give you your coffee with a great price to boot...
The Padres rallied to upend the Astros last night with 4 consecutive hits...none by Kooz who may be the worst hitter with men on base in the history of the game (Bill Walton I apologize)...however, AGonzo goes down with a hurt knee and wooah be us...
The more I read about MJ the more I am saddened by the mess he was in and he left...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
