The LA Lakers easily conquered their 15th NBA crown yesterday at Orlando.  Superior defense and of course, Kobe, led the Lakers to the best of the best showdown...
Why do people seem to think the thing to do after a championship is to riot and tear up the city they are so devoted?

Woeful, pitiful, lackluster, effortless, outclassed....adjectives of the lowly Padres as they got swept by the Angels for a combined score of 27-7 in but a 3 game series...

Did you expect anything less for an election in Iran?  One side says it was rigged, the other says they won with a huge majority, and the loser fears for his safety...

Heading back to the great NW for a short stint and for the fine weather up there...oh yea, for friends and golf...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
