Breaking the ICE?

Oh, this could go many ways...the title of today's blog...'Breaking the ICE?'...I wish it were the Icetapo...but, that will come later, and not soon enough...but, I am referring to the impetulance of leaders in the major countries...attacking smaller nations...for greed...for showing of power...for the oil...the latest of the actions, in the past decade and a half...

Began with Russia in their quest of the land of Ukraine...regardless of the World's view of it...they still are attempting the conquering of that country...followed by the US's present regime of trump...with his attack on Venezuela and Nigeria...who is to stop his actions?...not Congress and not the rest of the World...now, my fear...is that China has seen the pattern of the other's leaders...and will soon, do the same to the island of Taiwan...in the lengthy past of that country, the USA has defended it...will trump?...

In essence, this boast of his, trump's...that he has stopped 8 wars...in reality, he has opened the door for many more to come...there is no World Wide Force to stop the insanity...has he checked Israel in their pursuit of Gaza?...hardly...add this leader to the 3 aforementioned...

The next to fall?...my fears continue...Hong Kong...really...keeping on...what will stop North Korea from advancing?...this indeed could lead to the dreaded World War III....

Somewhere in all of this, there must be a curtailing of the need, greed, and posturing for a KING...all Kings...supreme leaders...let's start at home...

To talk about sporty after the above, seems like a minor task...but, shoot, let's do it...the battle for the #1 pick in the draft for next year...the Toilet Bowl...NY Giants vs the Las Vegas Raiders...LV lost and thus, won...man, they are dreadful...really bad owner...but hey, you are in Vegas, and now...you can go to the Sphere...the 49ers beat da Bears, huge score...congrats to Ol man Rivers for filling in...for Indy...

The elite 8 in the BSCFP...this week...Wednesday and Thursday...GO DUCKS!...we shall see how good this team is...you going?...no, not me (The Orlons)...on the tele, and will be cheering loud and proud...

How about this...according to WalletHub, they listed the top ten safest cities in the United States of America...and making the list, was none other than...drum roll, please...Salem, Oregon!...#10, but in it, nonetheless...time for a celebration there...hmmm, safer than Keizer?...maybe, it was included...

Way back in my teaching days...one of the schools I taught at...had trouble winning in football...the crowds, were down...parents and family were there...but, there was this one bloke who always showed up...doubt if he had a kid playing...and out of the blue...the dark of nite...at the high school football game...would shout out 'you have to sacrifice your body!'...as loud as he could muster up his voice...maybe that was the principal...I doubt it...could have been a former defensive coach...I dunno...but, to this day, still reverberates in me mind...
