A Place in the Sun


Going to give the 'vetting' blokes a break....well, at least in my blog...I will say that the people that trump has chosen, are NOT the best that are out there in republican land...he tried that last time around and they all quit or got fired...so, yes....he named his arse kissers this go around...and...with the majority garnered by the elephants, as bad as these cats are...they STILL will get confirmed...geez, I guess I didn't give them a break after all...

We are roaming the streets of Palm Springs...man, this place is like going back in time...so many mom and pop stores, non-big name ones, and just loads of stuff to gander at...wander in and try to figure out where 'it' will fit in our home...or wear...there is a vinyl shop that you KNOW I will stop at today...+ many fine restaurants to choose from...

I can't recall the last time I have felt the 'Injun' snub...I did last nite...could have been that I look non-white period...which is odd, cuz Boss looked out of sight last eve...but this guy, did a double take on me...as he was taking us to the bar, where we saw 2 openings...and BOOM!, he said that these were not available after all...an Italian restaurant...cuss words...and we went next door and were treated appropriately...perhaps, I am being too sensitive, but the look he gave me...as if he recognized me, or he didn't like what he saw...who wouldn't like the Horse?...

BTW, this was isolated...as each and every other place was great...no problems whatsoever....

The NFL playoffs continue this weekend...and one game jumps out at me...the Vegas Boyz have the Ravens FAVORITE over the home team, Bills...the 2 players that are supposedly the choices for MVP,, square off...the QB's...Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen...OK, my pick is the Bills...and Allen...

Back to last nite...met up with them Morrises to help with the celebration of the Boss's birthday...it was so much fun...at a restaurant called Eight4Nine...no idea what that means...

The plan for today?...swim in the heated pool...shop a while...and somewhere along the way, she wants Mexican food...wouldn't be kind of fun, to go to a golf shop, just for hits and giggles?...probably not, this time...

Friar wire...the word out is the naming of the team that gets the Japanese SP, Roki Sasaki...rumor is that he is down to 3 teams...the Blue Jays, the Bums, and the Padres...the decision could be today...we need good news, right?....

Time for some fun, in a place in the SUN!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
