I have been saying all along that the choice in the Repub Party for '24 will be Nikki Haley...she did an oops, when queried last eve about who started, or, what the Civil War was all about...she hemmed ha around and really didn't say much...a Sarah Palin 'what magazine do you read? moment...she promptly recanted this am, with... of course it was about slavery...thing is, by what she did last eve, that fits the hard right...the forevers...in the end, it will HELP her...what a mind set this country is in...she is still my choice of them...ya you guys...

One of the most hilarious things that has been said about trump...as when things come back his way, he is not too happy...that he stinks...he has an odor...there is a vid of people turning away with disgust over his smell...for us, non-forevers, it is hysterical...thing is, it could be they are reacting to what he just told them, too...OK then, smelly and repulsive....

Had to watch the local bowl game here in Diego...the Holiday Bowl...and dang it if the USC HC Lincoln Riley, didn't show that he should keep his job...had a bunch of youngins doing the play time...with the transfer portal dudes gone, and the Pro types not in uniform...he devised an awesome scheme to beat a favored Louisville Cards team...I think, easily...he used a red shirt frosh at QB, who threw SIX TD'S!...Caleb who?...apparently, the Trojans found a fresh amount of raisins...

The passing of one of my collegiate days funny celebs...Tommy Smothers...he was partnered with bro Dick, as just an extremely witty duo...he was 86...gosh, there are too many of my era...going...

Back to my Rachel Maddow book...did you ever hear of the 'Silver Shirts?'...a fascist group here in the USA, circa 1930's...led by William Dudley Pelley...who considered himself a Hitler clone in this country...he even ran for president...hmmm...called his group MAGA, wait that is wrong, Silver Legion of America...you KNOW his platform...the Jewish people were it...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
